Totally agree with fixing the stolen election problem via all those corrections. The problem with that problem is that one side is honest and the other not. One side intimidates and the other does not. One side criminalizes the corrections and the other doesn’t. These are generalizations, of course, but true none-the-less.

The following is a most interesting article, sorta complicated, but worth checking out.

“Why 1960 Alternate Electors Succeeded Where 2020 Ones Failed”

    By Lawrence Wilson – May 13, 2024 – Updated: May 14, 2024

Many Americans have no memory of the 1960 election, and few are likely aware of the striking similarities between it and the 2020 election. The Hawaii election provided the rationale for the alternate elector plan promoted by some associates of President Trump following the 2020 election.

Since last year, criminal prosecutions have been levied against Republicans who took part in the plan in Michigan, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona. President Trump is facing related charges in a Washington federal court. The two elections have much in common, yet the cases exhibit key differences that spelled success for the alternate electors in 1960 and defeat in 2020.

P.S. I still find it cowardly and overly emotional that Mike Pence didn’t at least TRY to give a hearing to the valid points being offered by Republicans who knew cheating went on but didn’t yet have all the information gathered into a coherent case.
