My husband got me a drill and drive set for Mother’s Day! I’m thrilled with it! 😂😂
Seriously, though, when we were still engaged and I saw one of those commercials mocking a guy for buying his wife a kitchen appliance, I made a point of telling him, I would love a kitchen appliance! Or anything else useful. Flowers and jewelry would be wasted on me. I like them well enough, but I have no interest in them as gifts.

The fact that it is something that you want is what is important. On the other hand, if I didn’t ask for a vacuum and got one anyway, I might feel quite different about it.
