Good mornin’, kids! Getting towards the end of another week of nutty action from the Swamp, so we probably need an extra cup or three on Friday eve. Carpe something, y’all!

Have the libs bit off more than they can chew? Are they the dog who caught the car? I guess we’ll see, won’t we. As my Pop always told me, watch out what you wish for, you might get it, and then what?

National Butterscotch Brownie Day – to ease the complications, there is a mix in a box that has a packet of butterscotch to swirl in before baking. Comes out well.

National Lost Sock Memorial Day – One place I worked had mismatched sock days, giving people a chance to show theirs off

Good mornin’, czarina! Since our TX grandkids are ages 17-20 now, we don’t have much of the alphabet left. Me and Mrs. T are still debating on which of the three ate most of ’em! It’s a toss-up!

I was thinking the other day about the driver who comes with his big garbage truck and empties the dumpsters and what a nasty job that can be. What would we do without them, though. Imagine how awful things can get with the garbage piling up. I’d like to thank those guys for doing the job they do. Maybe not exactly what we call heroes, but we certainly need them.

The NY city “garbage strike” in 1968 became a public health emergency. After nine days of the strike, 100,000 tons of refuse were on the city streets.

The clean up went on for weeks.

Good day, Czarina! Is it really a brownie if it’s something other than chocolate? I like mine super moist and gooey….

This is precious! The lefties are starting to eat their own when they feel slighted by their sugar daddies. One BLM group suing Tides because they are giving $$$ to another BLM group and they’re all running their own grift. Hard to tell the players without a scorecard here. Soros is behind all of it.

    Good morning everyone,

Is there something fishy going on? We’re swimming with the fishes and strolling through the garden today.

Beautiful roses, Lucille. Monet had a brilliant way of re-arranging nature.

Those potluck recipes are handy to have for almost any “get together.”

Going back in for a cup of cowboy coffee from Tex’s pot. WeeWeed’s right that stuff will make your hair stand up! Better add a brownie to go with it.

Will try to send a good word to a Homefront Hero today, They are many unsung heroes that work behind the scenes to help create the creature comforts we enjoy. (Like the line men who help keep the lights on in all kinds of weather.)

    Thank you kindly, everyone.

I saw a video this week where a repairman said not to buy G.E. Apparently (except for the lightbulb division) G.E. was bought by the Chinese, and they aren’t doing anything to improve the brand. He also said that it is difficult to get repair parts.

Thank you for the information Czarina and Stella.

This isn’t good for business at all. GE was previously known for quality especially in their Profile line.

Larger businesses can better handle the parts return and replacement, they buy in larger quantities.

Small businesses will definitely be impacted. They don’t have time or the manpower to absorb a lot of parts replacement and additional calls.

Customers from either, won’t like having to reschedule repairmen for repeat visits, or pay additional time charges.

Mornin’ All. It was almost 50* when we got up this morning. The sky is perfectly clear and there is not much of a breeze so it is pretty nice outside. The grass is growing like crazy and the buds are on all the trees now.

Not much going on here. Just catching up on chores. Hope you all have a nice day and stay safe.
