I have not been paying as much attention as I should to some of the goings on on the campaign trail, but I noticed several people dropping the same name – Susie Wiles. She’s one of DJT’s main lieutenants on the campaign trail and here’s a little story about her firm. Trump seems to have a broken picker, IMO. I don’t think picking a fight with RFJ Jr. is a fight he needs to have.

I got my hair cut this morning. I appreciate my hairstylist and I told her so, too. I took in three pictures and she knew exactly what I wanted. When she finished, I asked if she could shorten the hair around my face and she said that was a good idea and actually made it work better. She was happy to do whatever I wanted.
All my pets have been adopted except for one I got back in my early twenties. I saw her in a pet store and just had to have her. She was a 6 wk old puppy with her 5 or 6 brothers who were fighting and playing and she was just sitting in the empty water dish to stay out of the fight.
And, I was a Navy brat.

Overnight about 20 protesters showed up at Tulane University on their lawn. Not on public land, so Tulane will have to deal with them.

Likely the old military tactic. Poke, prod, look for weak spots, then move in, or move on. Expect to see more of this at private schools, I’m betting.

I have my own thoughts about this. If Johnson is ousted before the election, who will be the next speaker? Will it be Hakeem Jeffries? I would rather stay with the devil I know. After the election might be a different story.

I agree. IMO, they would have been better off sticking with Speaker McCarthy and foregone all the drama since last year. It’s understandable why they wanted him out, but at the time I was a tad fearful of it being a “be careful what you wish for” moment. Johnson is worse than McCarthy. A radical leftist like Jeffries means doom for a second Trump term and thus for the U.S.
