Good day, Czarina! It’s never a Near Miss Day if your lunch includes a delicious tamale made the old-fashioned way wrapped in corn husks. Melba toast has to be smothered in salted butter and the chips to go with the tamales must be corn-based with guacamole dip…

Afternoon All. We got up at 10:30 this morning and it was 37* and snowing. I thought it was just foggy out until we got out in it. It is hard to see that spagm snow, but that is what is coming down. I just looked out the window and the ground is now white with snow. I figured it would melt when it hit the ground. But, it hasn’t. It felt really, really cold when we went for our morning walk. I was surprised at that. But, it was also very windy. Loki is going to be annoyed that she has to wear her booties again.
