Good mornin’, Lucille. Yellowstone is so beautiful. I was there about 25 years ago and would love to make a return trip. The only thing is that I would like to spend a month there instead of 2-3 days.

Good afternoon, Czarina! An odd assortment today. I see no particular reason to celebrate Minnesota, though I could get behind speech and debate education and a day of unplugging (maybe). But I doubt there’s a blue dress in my closets. I might consider a maxi peasant type with a colorful print like this, never just a solid blue, though…

Queen Letitia is now going after the beef industry in NY. Hard to believe that she might be a vegetarian, like her buddy, the Mayor of NYNY. Apparently, they don’t much care for business of any kind in their wonderful state (of disrepair).

Afternoon All. 37* and breezy this morning. Yesterday I told Loki I would take her for a walk and when we got out there it was raining. Actually, raining, not misting like it usually does. When we got away from the building which was blocking most of the rain, Loki noticed it and decided she wanted to go back in. The snow doesn’t bother her, but evidently rain does. Most of the snow is gone this morning, except for a patch here and there.
I called AARP to get my taxes done and the only appts they have left are on April 15. Next year I will have to call in at the end of January. I just hadn’t gotten all my paperwork by then. She said they would get the returns done, no matter what. I hope so.

Dozens of Jan. 6 cases might be impacted after the court’s ruling on Friday.

On Friday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled that Larry Brock, who was convicted for a range of crimes related to Jann. 6, improperly had additional charges of “interference with the administration of justice.” The judge who wrote the court’s opinion wrote that the charge doesn’t apply to a sentencing enhancement, however, and struck it down.

I’ve been following this for a time. Blaze reporter Steve Baker taken into custody today for reporting on J6 and apparently embarrassing the DOJ. Three years after the fact. According to the article, he was released from custody. That is amazing, based on everything else that has happened to these folks.

Judge Rules Arizona Law Requiring Proof of Citizenship Not Discriminatory

“Considering the evidence as a whole, the court concludes that Arizona’s interests in preventing non-citizens from voting and promoting public confidence in Arizona’s elections outweighs the limited burden voters might encounter when required to provide DPOC,” Judge Bolton wrote, referring to documentary proof of citizenship.
Judge Bolton cited existing Arizona election law, noting that, “To be qualified to vote in Arizona, a person must be a United States citizen, a resident of Arizona, and at least eighteen years of age. Ariz. Const. art. VII, § 2.”
