Some days you’re just in a hurry. This is one of them. Heading to the dentist for an early appointment. Coffee’s ready, with a couple surprises. Happy Leap Year Day, y’all!

Rare Disease Day USA – the internet has really helped people with these share and get treatment info

National Time Refund Day – blurb refers to a correlation with April 15. Can’t make this work since I never get a refund.

National Leap Day – do we have any birthday people out there?

National Toast Day – the picture shows white bread toast. I’m going to imagine starting with more interesting bread, or then moving on to starting lunch or dinner with a toast to good things in our lives using beverages!

Good morning! It’s sunny and cold here. February once again. That coffee tastes extra good.

Good day to you, Stella! We’re at 46 degrees with light rain. It must have rained all night because the new snow of yesterday is all gone. The old is still stacked up against the back fence in huge ice piles to remain until April or May.

Afternoon All. It is 45* and most of the snow melted overnight. I can see some green deep in the brown grass now. And, those noisy little birds are back again. I thought I had heard one or two of them. a few days ago, but yesterday they were here in a big flock. Indications of Spring just around the corner? I won’t be fooled so easily. My DIL said a couple of years ago it snowed in June.

I have some things on my To-Do list today that I need to get to. One is make an appt. to get my taxes done. I always hate that hanging over my head. Hopefully it will be nearly the same as last year.

Hope you all are having nice weather with no tornadoes.

Those noisy little birds likely plan their outings and are thinking: “Let’s go serenade auscitizenmom. We saw her peeking out her windows last year, just like she was waiting for us. Can’t disappoint our humans.”

Progressive Prosecutors Build A New Kind Of Police State

    By Daniel Greenfield

Before New York Attorney General Letita James launched her selective prosecution of former President Trump, the former public defender was advocating for the “criminal justice reforms” that empowered criminals and terrorized a state.

AG James had run for office promising to “reform NY’s criminal justice system and to investigate and prosecute Trump’s family businesses” and she kept her word. Criminals now roam free in the state while prosecutorial resources were dedicated to targeting political opponents.
