Good morning, Texan! I’m not sure where in New Jersey that the photo was taken. It’s been a half century since I visited there, but I recall that it was quite pretty in certain areas.

Good afternoon, Lucille,
It is pretty in certain areas. Isn’t it called the “garden state”?
From the New Jersey state website.
“While most people associate agriculture with our nation’s heartland, New Jersey is home to more than 9,900 farms covering 750,000 acres of farmland. The state is among the leaders in many forms of agricultural production. For example, New Jersey ranks: 5th in blueberry production, 3rd in cranberry production, 3rd in spinach, 3rd in bell peppers, 3rd in peach production and 8th in tomato production.”
However one wag replied to the question “Why is it called the Garden State?”
“Cause you’re always guardin’ your wallet, guardin’ your car, and guardin’ your house.”
A comment worthy of WeeWeed!

A friend and I visited New Jersey (Atlantic City and western NJ) in the 1970’s. We visited a winery in Egg Harbor NJ. It was very rural and beautiful.

I believe they are also known for their tomatoes.

Mornin’, Miz WeeWeed! I’ve been up since 3:30 when out of the blue I started having aches and pains that kept me awake. Little Gee is all discombobulated seeing Mom moving around while it’s still dark outside. LIFE!

Hope you’re feeling better, too, Lucille,
You certainly choose some beautiful moonlight photos.
Now we know you had some “late night” inspiration.
Thanks for turning your discomfort into something lovely for us.

Happy Monday, kids! Looks like we’re gonna have to hear about Tay-Tay and her football boytoy for at least a couple more weeks. Better stiffen up your spine with a big hot cup of coffee!

It appears that our friend, Tucker Carlson has got out neighbors to the North a bit twisted in their knickers after his speech up there the other night.
FTA – “………for Danielle Smith to bring the mouthpiece of the MAGA conservative far right to Edmonton Center to spew hate about LGBTQ2 people is beyond the pale, it’s deplorable and we won’t stand for it.” – So I guess they’ll do like the rest of the lily-livered Canuck pols and sit when they have to p**. 😉

I wonder what they plan to do about it. As Shakespeare said, “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

The left is certainly not short on ideas. This self-titled “political philosopher” (whatever that is) has decided that all rich people do not need more than $20MM of wealth. Here’s one of her gems – “Excess wealth keeps the poor in poverty while inequality grows.” That is an idea from one who believes that money is part of a fixed pie, that there is only so much to go around. While I probably won’t ever be a billionaire, I certainly have the ability to become a millionaire, and if I had really gotten serious when I was 20, who knows.

Sitting around feeling jealous over the wealthy having too much won’t add one cent to your bank account. Only pathetic folk spend their lives being so envious they want to take what they are not owed.

National Bubble Wrap Day- used to work with a woman who kept some in her desk for relaxation
National Corn Chip Day – my fave snack.
National Puzzle Day – I love all kinds of puzzles. If I didn’t have cats I’d have a jigsaw puzzle out on the table all the time.

Good mornin’, czarina. Most of my puzzles are a solid color and missing a piece. 😉

Challenging. I have several random pieces on the floor in the closet where I keep the puzzle boxes.
I also have a pile of crossword puzzles from the newspaper to entertain me on airplane flights. Beats the heck out of the random movies and TV shows they offer.

Good morning, czarina! Wrap some corn chips in a bubble wrap pocket for freshness and much away at your leisure while you’re watching this mystery having to do with crossword puzzles….

The Raven
By EDGAR ALLAN POE
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more.”

A classic! Growing up, had a friend with a pet raven named “Never More” (they pronounced it: ‘nevermore’).
Hadn’t seen a raven again ’till we moved to eastern Oregon, where they abound. Smart creatures! 😦
Different from crows but are used interchangeably.

No ravens near the Deep South. But we do have a lot of crows right now.

Mornin’ All. It is 35* here right now, but feels really pleasant. It is,. however, overcast and getting foggy.
Well, I have a doctors appt. this morning, so I probably should get ready. I am having the bus pick me up and I am never sure when they will get here, usually very early. So I need to be ready.
Hope your weather is good today.
