So glad you like it, ernnburn. The young man who taped it is originally from Bangladesh, I believe. He’s apparently a college student who now lives n Queens with his family. He doesn’t talk a lot about himself but he certainly loves the city and seems to love the U.S. also.

New York is such a fascinating city. It’s a terrible shame how bad off it is nowadays. I visited there two times in 1965, which was before the World Trade Center was built, and stayed in a very small room at the Barbizon Plaza, paying $12 per night…LOL! Imagine! Had such great fun walking everywhere and did the usual touristy things…a tour of the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, the Flatiron Building, Macy’s, Bergdorf’s, Grand Central Station, Radio City Music Hall, the United Nations building, the Empire State building. A totally memorable year.

I spent a long weekend in NYC in the late 80s. Museum of Natural History, going all the way up in the Statue of Liberty, seeing Fiddler on the Roof, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral were my favorites. Did Macy’s and the other shopping stuff with the other lady I was with, but I really didn’t care for that.

Morning Lucille, hope you are Warner than us!

Good morning, Menagerie! We’re at 30 degrees right now, heading to a quite doable 37 in the afternoon. I’m off to slumberland shortly and just might sleep until noon.

Good morning! A bit warmer (not much), but the sun is shining, so that’s nice. Should get above freezing in a couple of days, so some of this snow can melt.

I saw this article last night and wanted to share it with you to show just how stupid politicians are all over the globe. This pulls the curtain back on British pols and how they came up with their “estimates” of what they would need to do to become “net zero” by 2050. They used one year of weather data (which happened to be the most optimistic) instead of multiple years that they had available. More proof that they aren’t serious about anything except putting their citizens back in the stone age.

Speaking of idjits………..Juan Pablo Kerry did happen to mention at the shindig that agriculture needs to do their part in cutting GHG emissions. Apparently, he has not read any news reports about the farmers in Holland, France, Germany and other places telling their gubmints to stuff it up their……….. I guess our “media” forgot to tell us about this stemwinder.

These will be awesome, no doubt. Hollywood feels that it’s time to remake two classics with……………..POC. Dude responsible for racist show, Blackish to remake The Wizard of Oz and It’s a Wonderful Life. The good news is that Hollyweird continues to pour their money down the commode. I will laugh.

I don’t think I ever wondered about Tucker’s belief regarding abortion, but I ran across this video, in which he makes it clear. To sum it up, he said the only “political” issue he ever lectured his children on is abortion. He told them that they do not have the right to take life except in self defense. The issue of power is what divides the conservative from the non-conservative.

I agree with the idea that this is not about conservative or progressive ideology or about a political view. I know that is and has always been about a spiritual belief about God. The idea that God is a tyrant has been projected throughout time and it is the most erroneous idea of all time because of the “lack of knowledge “ of His mercy and desire for the successful life that God has for his human creation!!!

Afternoon All. We were up to 26* when we got up about 10:00. I didn’t go to Church because I wasn’t sure I could get my car out of the parking place. It had snow what looks like another foot last night. The friend that I ride with said she wasn’t planning on going either. She said the snow plow was going back and forth all night and kept her awake. {sigh} I don’t know if our parking lot will get plowed even tomorrow because it is supposed to snow tonight maybe, and again tomorrow afternoon.

Looks like a boring day. Guess I will just try to get some things I have been putting off done. 🙄 Loki says she will take some naps.

Well, stay warm and have fun.

I can’t even imagine what a soldier goes through having to deal with these barbaric spawn of satan. Trying to envision a terrified hostage living under ground like this is near-on impossible…..
