Beautiful birds Lucille. We’ve been watching lots of geese, a rare pair of ducks now and then, and a crane sometimes. No colorful little songbirds though. A couple of night age there were five deer, maybe ten feet or so from the window, right after twilight.

Same in my yard, except I only have three deer. Usually have some mockingbirds.

Aren’t they sweet. The only one of the four varieties I’ve seen in person is the Blue Jay. We had a bunch of them in L.A. No deer, though. Likely the denizens of that city would faint dead away if such a creature peered into their windows.

Said during President Trump’s Fox News Town Hall Meeting: “We are going to have the largest deportation effort in the history of our country. We have millions and millions of people here. It is not sustainable.”

These emails include messages to Jim and Hunter Biden regarding the then-vice president’s schedule and meetings. Some emails show Biden using the alias: robinware456@gmail.com.

The emails also show that Hunter and Jim Biden accompanied Joe Biden on taxpayer-funded trips; and then-Vice President Biden in December 2009 emailing an aide after he forgot the password to his West Wing computer.

The emails were uncovered in a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the National Archives for Biden communications (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. National Archives (No. 1:23-cv-01432)).

Mornin’, Lucille! It would seem that folks should be getting a bit alrmed about the mounting mountain of evidence, but I think that everyone on our side is numb to the scale and we also don’t want The Cackler to take over either, as we can only imagine how jacked up everything will be. Grab some coffee on your way through.

Morning, Texan! Yes, the unpalatable V.P. has been a good deterrent to Brandon’s successful impeachment.

Did you see that a couple of days ago Mayorkas told a Congressional committee that if he gets impeached they won’t like who comes after him.

Is there anyone in the Demented One’s cabinet who is not an arrogant egotist?

Hey kids……….remember when Thoroughly Modern (Gen.) Milley’s white rage concerns was all the rage? I do. Looks like the crack team he put together has finally found their answer. Only took them three years, and who knows how much money…. but hey, it’s gubmint and that’s what they do.

I don’t watch any pro football anymore, but this, along with Nick Saban retiring at Alabama are tectonic shifts in the football world. Bill Belichick has split the sheets with the Patriots.

Wow, Belichick is out! He’s had a hard time since Brady left. I always liked him. Prickly personalities don’t bother me as long as they have some other redeeming qualities.

Good morning! A bit of snow on the ground this morning, but still warm enough so that it will melt. More is in our future, so I hear, and colder temps.

Mornin’ All. It is -4* and still snowing. I figure we got at lease 4 inches. We got all dressed up and went out and poor little Loki had to hop to get around in the snow, it was so deep. We were only out there a couple of minutes before she started limping (we lost one of her booties earlier this week) so I brought her back in. The snow is coming down and blowing pretty hard. In a while I will take my snow shovel out and clear off an area in the grass for her.

Hope you all stay safe and warm.

Looks like some dire lows moving into your neighborhood over the weekend, mom; but temps to the east will be even lower! Does Loki use pee mats? I see there are some with good reviews on Chewy.

Good day to you, aus! The snow has stopped here for now; so I dug out down to the mailboxes and back. Since no one cleaned off the sidewalks yesterday, there are lots ice mounds; and I couldn’t expend the energy to attack them.

I’ve got to start figuring out how to survive should the electricity go off. I watched a video a couple of years ago about using flower pots and candles.

Thanks, Stella! Since there are many on my email list who will either be having surgery themselves or have relatives who are scheduled, I sent it out. Great find!

That clip is from our local NBC affiliate, and the hospital is local. I don’t know how many hospitals across the country are using this technique, but it is certainly something to check into.

Federal Appeals Court Strikes Down Joe Biden’s Attempt to Regulate Dishwashers and Washing Machines
By Cristina Laila Jan. 10, 2024 2:20 pm

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the Department of Energy’s decision to regulate water use in washing machines and dishwashers.

The appeals court argued that the ‘energy efficient’ washing machines often need more cycles which ultimately use more energy and water.
