Did I write the title STRASBOURG – THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS CITY IN THE WHOLE WORLD enough times? Now it’s three times…isn’t there a saying, “Third time’s a charm”? Whatever that means.
This is the commentary from grammarist.com: “The idiom ‘third time’s the charm’ has its roots in the ancient belief that the number three is magical, but the phrase was first used in the early 1800s. A companion phrase is ‘third time lucky’, generally considered a British term.”
On the other hand, “Three on a match” is really bad luck. So there’s that.

Thanks, Stella. Looking forward to more Christmas market vids. The thing that surprised me about this episode was the near-chaotic train situation. I’ve always thought the trains running on time and sticking to a daily schedule no matter what was a point of pride for the Europeans. Apparently not…LOL!

And it’s a world record that she was ineffectively stupid in each place. What an embarrassment for the United States besides a tragedy.
You’d think she would get better speech writers. She likely believes she’s so smart that it’s just her audiences that are dumb for not recognizing her greatness. SMH!

As for Samantha Smith…had to look her up as I’d never heard of her before. I hesitate to express criticism since she died in a plane crash at age 13, but she reminds me of the media-puffed-up Greta Thunberg.

Afternoon All. Almost 40* with a really ugly gray sky here. It is very damp out and the sidewalks are all wet. Oh, and it is foggy.
I have one more thing to get for one of my granddaughters and then I will be through. That and washing dishes which I ignored yesterday are my main jobs today. And, a nap. I am going to fit in a nap somewhere for sure.

Was watching The Five and they just laughed at this kabuki theater. They said out loud that everyone who spoke at the press conference knows it’s a show and for entertainment purposes only. Along with Al probably making a buck and some free breakfasts, that’s about the last we’ll hear about it. 😀

Money-laundering, anyone? Would it be cheaper to give everyone 40 acres and a mule like was promised after the Civil War?
If Democrats are bound and determined to give away money to gain votes, shouldn’t the “reparation” be based on how much black African blood each person has? Give everyone a DNA test. I mean, fair is fair…some folks have “suffered” more than others.
Another thing, do they have to be registered Democrats or are they going to give money to conservatives and Republicans, too?
