What interesting choices. SIL lives in Frisco, GGS lives in Biloxi-Gulfport, and NO is my old city. Czar and I visited the Roosevelt (The Fairmont for several years) many times.

Any of these you have posted look so yummy! I just sent this link along to my sons and their families.
It works well for me to prepare several meals from one recipe…putting 5-6 storage things in the fridge for easy meals for a week or so. One like this looks like it might work? Sometimes something that is heavy on eggs doesn’t reheat so well, but the eggs are not a major feature here probably….I may have to try this!

tex, I shouldn’t confess this…but I’ve never been old enough to drink coffee…just couldn’t get into the grove and Ishouldbeashamedofmyself (is how that was said in the old days) for it, I suppose! Love the smell of coffee, can’t deal with drinking it.
I also enjoy the smell of fresh cigarette smoke and never got the hang of that either….but you are always gracious in your offerings and I thank you…..and best wishes to my inner Shirley Temple….

They dug from 9 till about 8:30, likely because their drive here was so long it was better to do the whole dig in one trip. Tomorrow the plumber will come replace the pipes, and I will have a functioning kitchen again. Then the men will return to put the dirt back. $10,000 for three days’ work was the best bid, the worst was $23,000!

Another monument set to be taken down in Arlington National Cemetary. The “Reconciliation” statue, no less. Erase all history. Our grandkids are already mostly illiterate when it comes to our history from 50 years ago, let alone 150-250 years ago. Sad to see all of this nonsense.

Evening All. My new grand baby was Christened in Church this morning. I would like to report that he was a perfect doll and did not cry at all, even when the pastor put water on his head. I only came back to my apartment to pick up Loki and the casserole I had made to take over to my son’s house. So, I was there all afternoon. I got to hold the baby again. 🙂 Boy, he is a chunk, has already put on several ounces. And, I can report that there is no chance of him being unable to thrive because of not being held. His sisters, grandparents, an aunt and uncle all want to hold him all the time.

I watched this video a couple of months ago, and really enjoyed it. It occurred to me that some of you might also enjoy it, as it deals with history and genealogy – namely, the discovery of King Richard III’s grave, and proving that it was actually him.
