Good morning, Wee! I’m just getting ready for nighty-night, yawning up a storm. Last week sometime someone mentioned she liked MIDSOMER MURDERS. And though I’d seen most of them before, I watched a couple and now am hooked on them once again and am staying up waaaaay past my bedtime to view them.

So now Peloton, that arbiter of all things great for the world, told a podcaster to take down an episode he did with RFK Jr. These are the same people who sell a $2500 bicycle that doesn’t go anywhere. They are who I always look to for my North Star. *ssholes.

Morning’ All. It was 25* when we got up. The sidewalks are slick because of the rain yesterday which is now ice on the sidewalks. I walked in the grass. It was foggy when we first went out, but now it has cleared up and there is blue sky with some clouds.

I found the Flonase that the doctor had told me to get when I had a sinus infection and used it last night. Got a better night’s sleep. I am just coughing my lungs, well, not lungs, throat out. It is very sore. So I try to stay still. My DIL called and is going to pick up some honey and juice for me. I can make some cough syrup with the honey. I hope spiced run will work instead of whisky.

My dad used to make cough syrup with sugar and sliced onions. Believe it or not, it tastes good.

My dad just sliced onions and put sugar on them, then refrigerated. We spooned the liquid out of the bowl.

I used that last summer for a chronic cough (onions and honey). Soothing; but it turned out I had something more serious and had to knock it out with steroids [ugh]. All recovered now but highly recommend the onion/honey-or-sugar formula.

LOL I made a cough syrup out of rum, honey, and lemon juice. Yum. It is good. I had to tell myself that I could only have one spoon at a time.
