Looks like some good ones in there! I’ll definitely be trying that smoked turkey breast recipe, it looks better than the last one I used. I’ve got a small breast in the freezer I’ll cook in a few weeks.
I’m going to make this soon, maybe next week, and serve with some not really homemade, but close enough, dressing. Looks unusual and good.

Viewing one of the live camera channels from Manhattan recently I saw several large Army and Armed Forces recruiting centers. They gotta be desperate to try recruiting in leftie land. Maybe they’re hoping to snag a tourist.
If I were a young potential recruit I’d wait until President Trump is re-elected. That way I’d know he wouldn’t send me to some godforsaken place to die.

I’m glad to see this. Small MI town ousts the entire council for approving a CCP-affiliated entity jobs project. The council said it wasn’t CCP related, even though the company charter indicated it “aligned” with the party. Good for these folks. There are a bunch of these types of companies springing up around TX. It’s not gonna end well.

Last night when I went to bed, this race appeared to be over as Paxton’s lawyer was NOT going to get in a runoff. Better news this morning. His incumbent opponent went backwards and fell under 50%. They will have a runoff same time as Queen Sheila.

Afternoon All. It was about 38* and sunny when we got up. We had a great walk under an almost clear blue sky.
I ordered groceries from Walmart to be delivered after 6:00 last night and they said they had delivered them, but the picture showed someone else’s welcome mat. I had no intention of running around in the dark looking for them so I called Walmart and they refunded my money and gave me a $10 bonus. This morning on our walk, I think I saw my groceries outside someone’s apt door. I am tempted to take my cart and go get them. Problem is, I don’t want to take them unless I can speak to the person who lives there. And, most people work all day here. I am going to write an email to our mgr and complain about the fact that the buildings are not well marked and at night are completely unidentifiable. It is a problem for anyone making deliveries if they are not already familiar with the buildings.
Well, Loki is unfortunately taking a nap on my lap, so I can’t get up right now. I will have to wait until she wakes up. But, hope you all have a nice day.

Chrysler/Dodge/Ram……..or whatever they’re called now has a solution for their hard-luck EV truck that will only pull a small boat about 145 miles. Attach a nat-gas generator that supposedly takes the mileage out to 690 miles. Somehow, this enables the automaker to still call this an EV and qualify for our tax money, aka subsidies.

That group includes Melissa Cohen, Hunter Biden’s wife, and Sara Biden, James Biden’s wife.

I read that Mrs. Post paid $7,000,000 for the build, finishing in 1927. That’s $123,823,160.92 today. I’m certainly no appraiser but I do watch a whole lot of upscale real estate vlogs…LOL! Appraising the property at $18,000,000 is ridiculous to the max. Is the appraiser a Dem? $500,000,000 is more like it.
