What is it with these twits? How do they think they’re going to get the sympathy vote when they tend to tear up national treasures. I’m thinking some felony convictions and 5-10 years in the pokey will stop a lot of this. They appear to have rather soft hands, IYKWIM.

Good day, Czarina! Our job today is to see that coloring the world orange while serving nachos and listening to a quartet of saxophone players, means making sure that “Orange Man” is reelected.

As for the International Day for Preventing blah-blah, sounds like just another leftie environmental sham or something from the Babylon Bee. Sure…let’s just tell Hamas and other Jihadis around the world, “Oh, please, please, please don’t hurt the landscape.” I’m sure that’ll work.

Mornin, All. 30* and overcast this AM. It was cool outside, but with no wind, it wasn’t too cold. There was a lot of frost on the ground, but Loki didn’t care. And, since she has now had her breakfast, she is taking her morning nap. 🙂

Didn’t get my snow tires put on yesterday, but I am hoping it will happen before the snow comes again. The weather guessers don’t foresee snow, but who knows?

My DIL is pregnant with her 4th child and she told me yesterday that they have found a slight irregularity with the baby’s heartbeat. They said it could be nothing or it might indicate something. She is due in about a month. So, any and all prayers for a healthy baby will be appreciated.

Well, here’s to a nice day for all.

What Must the President Have Known?
By James E. Campbell, Real Clear Wire – Nov. 5, 2023 4:20 pm

The principal fact is that during Joe Biden’s two terms as vice president, the influence of his public office was sold to governments and nationals in at least four countries to the tune of at least $20 million.

Hello All, I hope this is not too long.

It’s been 6 months or more since I last wrote about my husband having esophageal cancer. He went home to God at the end of May. It’s been a hectic, awful year. I am so grateful we found a nice church near us & he started practicing the faith even before he knew he was sick. He received all the sacraments, and died peacefully. I miss him so much. We were together, best friends, for 41 years. We, like all couples, had some really rough times, but I was truly blessed by God to have such a wonderful, kind man as my husband. He truly was, as one of his co-workers said, the best human being I have ever met.

I always say love and grief are 2 sides of the same coin – you can’t have one without the other – for now this has been my season of grief. As long as I do not think of the future, I’m mostly OK. There are always things that set you off – choosing a gravestone is currently one of those things.

Our priest and others have said now I must decide what to do with the rest of my life. I have an idea of what that will be, but there is still so much to get settled. I also do not know where I will be. We had planned on selling this house and moving, that’s why the construction last Oct – Dec. I still plan on doing so, but neither my very close friends nor what little family I have left will do anything until after the election next year.

So there’s the update. I have started reading the pretty, funny, and positive here again recently – the sad and upsetting news can wait. This will be a busy week, but hopefully soon I’ll be posting what I’ve learned of esophageal cancer & hospice, as well as a couple of odd things that may vary from state to state.

Especially since this is the month of the Holy Souls, any prayers for my beloved husband would be greatly appreciated.
My best to you all & Take care of yourselves…

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband. I have lost two close friends to esophageal cancer, and I know it is shocking in the rapid course of the illness. Please reach out to us here if there is anything we can offer to you.

I am with you. Was thinking of you this afternoon as I prepare to visit Boston in a week, how the three of us met for breakfast several years ago. He was a lovely man, and I know how you miss him.

I’m so sorry to hear this. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. While there is little that I can say to comfort you, please know that you have somewhere that you can come to, whether to shake your fist, or give thanks. We’re here to listen. God bless.
