Don’t know if any of you went to the theater to see the latest Dinesh movie, but I got a copy of the DVD and started watching last night. About halfway through and it makes your stomach tie up in knots when they start putting all the pieces together. You can order a copy here……….

Afternoon All. Well, it was 32* and partly overcast when we FINALLY got up this morning. It is hard to get up when you are so comfy and warm in bed. Guess I will spend the day doing more sorting and getting rid of things. I am almost down to the family photographs. That may be a hard thing to do.

Good afternoon, mom! I have been taking your lead on clearing out. I donated nine big bags of clothes and linens this week to Purple Heart. They picked it up from my porch, so it was easy.

Wow! That was some clearing out. I don’t have too many excess clothes since I got rid of so many summer things which I knew I wouldn’t need here. Right now it is knick knacks and just things that I had planned to use, like some paint, that I have oo much of.. And, I have a desk that I hope I can get somebody to come and pick up. Problem is, they will have to come in and get it. It was hard in Florida to find any organization that would do that. It may not be a problem here.

Half of what I donated was linens, which I had in a storage closet. Bedspread, duvet cover and shams, sheets, etc.

While the national press deserves all the scorn we cast upon them, it’s usually not the same lockstep message coming out of the small-town, local paper. However, there seem to be a lot of political hacks who fancy themselves as a little dictator. Another reporter got the law sicced on him for asking questions. This is in IL, so I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess the party of the mayor in this kerfuffle just might be on the left side of the aisle. They seem to really like the power. But I could be wrong.

I was going to watch the Dinesh video when it was free for a very short time. His vids are always so well done. Haven’t decided yet whether to buy it since I’ve sorta had my fill of disheartening info and news for 2023.
