      Love it. I can hardly ever hear the rain or even thunder here. Seeing the flash of lightening makes me look out the window. The is usually when I notice it is raining. And, we don’t seem to have many storms like that in this part of Montana.

        Good afternoon, aus! The stats show that my area gets around 27 inches of rain annually.

        I’d love to live here (as long as I’m not too isolated, that is)…

        By far I prefer rain to snow, which we get to the tune of 43 inches per year average. But we also have around 174 sunny days.

        Your area gets fewer sunny days, less rain, but more snow.

      Well, that made me cry. I think I need a good cry. I’ve noticed today while I was at Walmart I wanted to hurt people.

      Partly because when I checked out, I noticed on my printed receipt this notice:

      “This is your receipt and your exit pass”

      I don’t want to ask the obvious questions because I suspect I won’t like the answers and I may throw things and break stuff and forget to use my inside voice. I didn’t show my “exit pass” to ANYONE on the way out. Wonder what kind of list that puts me on.

      You’ve probably seen the phrase from the last couple of years that warns, “Don’t make the black kids mad.” Well, there’s another one that goes something like, “You really don’t want to find out what will happen when all of the old people decide it’s time.”

    Afternoon All. It is 27* and snowing out. It had quit snowing for a little while yesterday and the snow on the sidewalks melted and then froze and now there is a layer of several inches of snow on top of ice. I sure am glad I have cleats for my boots. Loki is not pleased. I used my birthday snow shovel to clear off a section just off the patio so she doesn’t have to walk in 4 inches of snow.

    Now NYC is shelling out millions in contracts with laundry outfits to wash the clothes of the illegal immigrants. I forgot to hang on the link. Sorry…just read it a few minutes ago.

    It seems to me the situation might be alleviated if they were always called illegal aliens, if their clothes were not washed for them, if they were not given housing and food paid for by the people whose house they broke into, etc.

    The transparent manipulations, money-making(s), deceptions, and passing-the-bucks are endless.
