Some, or a lot, of the woods here have so many evergreens with other colorful trees mixed in. So, there are bright green trees and gold and orange trees mixed in. It really is beautiful.

It’s the same in the Panhandle, though my area has mostly evergreens.

Just looked it up and, according to the USDA Forest Service, Idaho has 13 different varieties of evergreens and 3 broadleaf (Black Cottonwood. Quaking Aspen, Western Paper Birch).

NBC: ‘Trump’ and his ‘allies’ are guilty of stoking fears of terrorism without evidence
    By Jack Hellner – October 13, 2023

NBC doesn’t care about all the people, including terrorists who have come across the border; instead, the outlet is more focused on calling out Republicans for being concerned about terrorists.

Timmy/Tammy’s parents must be so proud of their child for taking a stance at Clemson. With everything else melting down, some 50 “students” found it necessary to march against tampons being removed from the boys restrooms. That makes ’em look tough! 😀 😀 😀

Mornin’ All. We had some frost again this morning. It is mostly overcast, but I have a feeling the sun will come out.

Where my son works had an open house yesterday. They had built a new building and added on a coffee, snack, area and a store where they sell t-shirts, hats, etc, with their logo, etc. on them along with things they make. They had a singer, a beer tent, and a couple of food trucks outside. It was packed. They had many more times people than they expected. It really went great. Most people around here know about the business, but this surely will spread even more.

Okay. Hope you all have a nice day.

    Nice dot-connecting.

Funny how they think not giving this person a gun will make that person not use the gun he has.

I guess it’s the same principle as – if I get the covid shots, my neighbor won’t get covid.

    That didn’t work either.

Reminds me to say again that my refusal to get the covid shot does NOT mean that I think I will never get covid or will never die from covid. It means that bureaucrats don’t get to make my personal health care decisions.

      Excellent article, Sharon. Thanks!

I read earlier today that as of March this year, only 2% of Israeli civilians owned firearms and it often took eight months to pass Israeli government tests to get a permit. Even former IDF members could not automatically own a gun. Now the government is supposedly rushing a measly 10,000 rifles to those who have applied, with more to come.

Hopefully, followers of the “perfect man” (whom we know to have been a rapist, pedophile and murderer) will be disqualified from any participation. Anyone who follows that faker knows that he authorized lying and using subterfuge (taqiyya) when dealing with their enemies to make the infidels drop their guard. In my book that makes all of them untrustworthy.

I was happy to realize that I was in the “80% complete” band for the sun eclipse last hour. Had substantial cloud cover so it was a sort of a non-event…just kind of like God hit the dimmer switch for a few minutes. Psalm 19, regardless!
