        Good morning, weather!  Very nice visit, though busy with all the things they helped me with.  That includes a stop at Urgent Care.

        They brought their super-energetic 8-month-old Blue Heeler with them.  When we were playing, he lunged, missed the rope toy and sharp little teeth nipped a piece of skin off my lower leg. Since my last tetanus shot was in 2008 and to ease my mind, I got updated at the UC and now am on antibiotics.  

        He was fully vaccinated; so I probably wouldn’t have gotten tetanus.  It’s one of those live-and-learn incidents (hopefully for him, too).  Such a beautiful boy.  Being a cattle dog, he loves to herd people, too.  One of his things is to sit by you close enough to have his paw on your shoulder.  LOL!

      This whole episode is awful. The federal system as presently set up is governed by compromise. Searching for someone who is a leader every Republican will rally behind and who isn’t an occasional compromiser is going to be rough going. I sincerely hope smug, rich-boy-entitled Gaetz isn’t flipping through mail order catalogs looking for a new Speaker gavel.

      That McCarthy compromised is a given.  However, having to vote with the entire Dem party to get rid of him makes me throw up. What a hateful compromise of principles.  Conferring and voting with the idjuts, fascists and communists who despise America and our Constitution is reprehensible.  Aren’t Republicans supposed to be thinkers?  They should have thought of a better way.  Why is it that Republicans couldn’t do strategic planning?  Frankly, I’m sick of just about everyone in Washington.  

      President Trump has enough on his plate.  He should ignore the Speaker position.  He needs to concentrate on getting through the witch hunts plus using his energy on his rallies for President.

      Outsiders I would vote for:  General Mike Flynn.  Kari Lake.  

      Insiders:  Byron Donalds.  Jim Jordan.

        Well, my two insider choices have been shot down by a friend of mine who says Donalds is a Koch man, and Jordan isn’t what he seems but is weak, stopping short of the full-throttle warrior we need.  So just who is left on the inside?

    Mornin’ All.  Low 40’s and cloudy here today.  Nice for a walk.  They have finally finished the concrete work on the next building and I think there is a possibility that they may start on this one today.  It dawned on me this morning that I had better get my laundry in the car because they will tear up the sidewalks on both sides of the building and it will be hard to get my cart out.  And, seeing how long it takes to get these jobs done, I need my clothes.  I try to wash everything at once because of the expense and time.  Anyway, got to get on it.

    Have a nice Fall day.

    These special people in DC rarely ever face the music for their actions. Shortly before she married the Cuban, Mr. Menendez’s girlfriend (now wife) hit and killed a man in NJ. Not one thing happened to her, but Bob got a free car out of the deal, apparently.
