1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

    Good Sunday morning, Stellars!

Countless numbers of believers in God have used the Psalms as their personal prayers. Indeed, Jesus’s last words on the cross are two Psalm verses…Psalm 22:1a: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” and Psalm 31:5a: “Into thy hand I commit my spirit.”

At early church gatherings the Psalms were sung as they had been for a thousand years in the Jewish Temple of Jerusalem. Most 20th Century American Christian children learned by heart many Psalms and us oldies could probably still quote many, in particular the entire 23rd Psalm.

Thanks, Stella, for the beautiful Psalm 24 quote…a good reminder of how comforting the Psalms are and the importance of their use in our daily lives.

    Have a blessed day!

    Constitution Day and Citizenship Day

National Professional Housecleaners Day and Wife Appreciation Day – I can see how to fit these together very well.

    National Apple Dumpling Day

National Monte Christo Day – I tried a Monte Christo Sandwich once, and definitely did not like it. I know I like fried anything, and a fried ham & cheese sandwich seemed like a good idea. But the addition of powdered sugar and raspberry jam?

This doesn’t make me very happy. That worthless toady, Adam Kinzinger has apparently moved to the Great State of Texas. He hasn’t changed his stripes one iota. He was all in on getting rid of our AG, Ken Paxton apparently. We should not be surprised. Looks like the Tweeterati busted him so bad that he had to lock down his Tweeter account from responses. hehehehehe!

Another coincidence? Russell Brand, a known liberal, who has recently had the scales fall from his eyes about the perils and evils of BigGov, is all of a sudden being hammered for the D’s standard offering of sexual assault and rape. Not diminishing the acts here, but sure do notice the textbook response to one who turns on the lefty message.

Some sensitive “country” singer is having to leave that genre because she doesn’t feel safe anymore with mean people like Jason Aldean singing bad songs. Said she recently appeared on stage with Tay-Tay and it was “…..such a supportive crowd: 90 percent women and 10 percent gays and dads. I’ve never felt so safe at a live show before,” I’ve heard her name, but couldn’t tell you one song she sings. Wonder if she ever heard about the Dixie Chicks and how well things worked out for them. Might have to buy this book. Although we’ve all lived through it, not a bad idea to see all the destruction that has been heaped upon us by Teh Won in one place.
