The Road Not Taken
By Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Happy Tuesday, Stellars….

You gotta give the libs credit. They will find anything they can to muck things up. Out of nowhere are there two different mussel’s that might be endangered by the buoys in the Rio Grande river. Don’t worry about the thousands of people walking on them to cross that river.

Mornin’, Miss Wee. I can think of another first for this seat-warmer. The first infantile POTUS. He’s regressing back to childhood at a rapid rate. Something of a Benjamin Button type, only dumber.

Good day, Wee! You likely heard that the Demented One told his audience in Alaska on 9/11 that he was at the World Trade Center site on 9/12/01. A total lie, of course.

A hug and high five to you, Czarina, as we drink a chocolate milkshake in celebration of those ants on a log which encourage the human family to eat partially healthy (depending on ingredients)….

Good morning everybody! Cool and a bit of rain this morning.

Please refrain from referring to such things as “cool” weather. That’s triggering to those of us who only read about such things as that! 😀 😀 😀

Good afternoon, Stella! We’ll hit 75 degrees today. Presently it’s sunny with a slight cool breeze…just a perfect day to be out on the lake or to trek over to Port Townsend on the northern Washington coast….

Afternoon All. Got up late, about 9:00. It is 60* outside with a smear of clouds which seem to be rapidly disappearing. I talked to my friend in central Florida last night and she said it was raining like crazy. While I was talking to her, she was in her bedroom and I started hearing the pounding of probably hail on the plastic bubble over her shower in the bathroom. It was unreal. She said it had been going on for hours. I could also hear the thunder which had to have been terribly loud.
Don’t know if we will get any rain here. But I am enjoying Fall. And, I am prepared for Winter this year. It won’t be such a big surprise. I even will be able to get to church if it snows.
Hope you all are having nice weather and enjoying the day.

I won’t even try to muster the massive sarcasm that is essential for an appropriate response to the contents of this article.
Beginning with “Really?????????????????” or perhaps, “Oh, wow. Who’d a thunk…” isn’t even close to what is called for.

Hi, Sharon! This is obviously a planned invasion by the domestic and international Left with which Biden cooperates on a daily basis.
The article ends stating that there were: …four recommendations for DHS to follow to better track immigrants who are released into the country. DHS rejected them all due to impracticality….”
Would have been helpful if the author had let us know what those recommendations were. Thus we could make our own judgment as to practical or impractical.
Tucker Carlson recently intimated that it would be good to not only station National Guard at the borders, but authorize them to use their firearms. Perhaps that was one of the totally practical, imo, recommendations which DHS rejected as impractical. After all, we are at war. If we started pushing back in the time-honored method of fighting the enemy–the drug cartels running the actual in-person border operation are certainly that–we could stop their crime spree and take back our country.

Being serious about tracking them is pretty much a non-starterwith DHS, too….so there’s that.
