Serious question – what is your answer?

Think about this for a while. What would be the best and most Constitutional resolution? My first reaction was to type out a quick reply, but then I stopped to think. I’m still thinking.

How is that question hypothetical? It is against the Constitution, but we just saw this scenario play out. When the justice system is corrupted, options for a resolution don’t exist,

I’ve considered the same question, since our own Prime Dictator has never had a legitimate election. Back in early 2016, when Elections Canada found that the 2015 election results had been influenced by Registered Third Parties (legal) that were funded by foreign organizations, mostly US based (illegal), the elections results should have been declared null and void, and a new election called. The party found to have cheated should lose their official status and be disbanded.

IMO, should it be found after a longer period of time, that a president or prime minister won through fraud, the same should apply; the results declared null and void and a new election called. However, any laws passed, contracts made, etc. during that time period should also be declared null and void.

It would be chaotic, but there is no way anything done by an illegitimate government can be allowed to stand, nor should a party that is proven to have cheated be allowed to maintain official party status.

Quite simple, really. If it’s proven that the office holder is not legitimate, that laws were broken, then law enforcement is the next step. That would be the immediate removal from office. There would NOT be a “constitutional crisis” from this removal as our constitution already addresses the line of succession to fill unexpected vacancies.

If our constitution were a book called, The Constitution, then the subtitle would be: “Instruction manual for how to operate a republic.” And then, somewhere in the fine print, we would see the same words that are printed on the back of a box of pancake batter mix: “For best results read and follow directions carefully.”
