In 2015, David Burge (Iowahawk) posted a now famous tweet describing leftism:
1. Identify a respected institution.
2. Kill it.
3. Gut it.
4. Wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.
In that short tweet, he perfectly described what leftism has done to Judaism and Christianity.
Example:
H/T American Thinker
The church I was brought up in has been hijacked. The slogan of The United Church of Christ is now, “God is still speaking”. They explain:
“If you think God’s not finished with you yet, guess what? God’s not even finished with God yet. God isn’t finished with you, or finished with the church or our world, or even letting us know more about God’s own compassion, justice, hope, and truth. If you are open, if you listen carefully, you’ll discover what God is saying to this generation at this time in history. There’s more good news to be heard!
DEI is their guide. Something I found on the UCC website:
What it says:
Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness…” So God created humankind in the divine image; male and female God created them. – Genesis 1:26-27 (CEB, modified)
Gender happens, usually without consent.
When you were born, or in utero, someone assigned a gender to you based on your anatomy. Today, more and more courageous people, young and not-so-young, are saying, “I do not consent.”
Likewise, gender happened to God without consent. Drenched as it is in patriarchy, the Bible mostly refers to God in masculine terms and with male pronouns. However, at no point in scripture does God say, “I am male.”
Is God’s given gender based on anatomy, as with humans? Does God have a male body? Clearly, the logic of assigning maleness to God is not well-considered, but the social impact is. As many have said: “If God is male then male is god.”
That’s why an increasing number of people reject Mr. God altogether. Why not be an atheist when it comes to the idol of God as an older, bearded, white male in the clouds?
Isn’t it more accurate, and biblical, to say God is non-binary, genderqueer, omni-gender and beyond gender? Perhaps the best way to refer to the Three-in-One God is with the non-gendered pronoun “They.”

Don’t get me wrong, please. I wish to be welcoming to all, regardless of their sins, as we are all sinners. I cannot approve of and condone sinful behavior as acceptable, however. Sin is still sin.

Calling good evil and evil good is spoken of quite clearly in Holy Scripture…
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil….” – Isaiah 5:20a (English Standard Version). “Woe” here means “doom as in judgment”, and it is God who will judge our actions and opinions.
Flaunting your sins as a positive thing has been done since the beginning and it is NOT inspired by our Father Creator God but by Satan.
Scripture also warns about those who will lead God’s children astray and the truly serious sin this is…
“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.” – Mark 9:42 (ESV)
In this verse Jesus is speaking of all his “children” who are not mature in the faith or in resisting temptation, not just young human beings.
This pastor’s arrogant statements are shocking and that seems to be part of her m.o. Sad for her and disastrous for her congregation.

Here’s another example of leftism’s desire to destroy faith in anything but Leftism….
“I Will ‘Stand in the Gap’: Chino Valley School President Defies State AG, Death Threats over Parental Rights”
Posted August 8, 2023 By Ben Johnson
If LGBTQ activists thought their threats — legal or illegal — would make Christian school board president Sonja Shaw back down, they guessed wrong.
Shaw led the Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) in California to require that teachers inform parents within three days if their children begin to identify as transgender. Eerily specific death threats soon poured in. While many sources of these violent messages remain unsolved, the Democratic Attorney General of California announced he is investigating the school district.

This subject can get deep rather quickly. First, there’s the triad, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Maybe it’s kinda like a father figure rather than a sex or gender. Second, why would a God have a need for a sex or a gender? Third, in Spirit what purpose would a sex or gender supply? Maybe we confuse man with mankind? Fourth, how would a God address physical human beings? Sometimes a God and a Dictator are lumped together. Are we not made in the image of God? How does that correlate to this? IMHO. Why do we have dominion over all things on earth?

Deep, indeed, Pa. Ordinarily I don’t get into theology or doctrine when online unless it’s a site which deals in those subjects. The question of sex or gender in our Deity is probably best dealt with by a heavy study of the languages the Bible was originally written in.
For instance, the Lord’s Prayer begins with “Our…Father” which Jesus Himself taught His followers. “Father” in Aramaic is “Abba” but some scholars say the word Jesus used is “Abwoon” which is a masculine/feminine word. I’m obviously not a linguistic scholar, FAR from it, but doing a deep dive with much assistance from knowledgeable folks would probably answer a lot of questions and misinterpretations.

Thanks Lucille, I am in the same boat. At my age I fear not what others think of me. I’m proud to endorse and worship our Deity, I prefer it in secret. I will share that joy with others given a chance. I try to build as good a Karma as I can! There is no shame in how I feel! With Heavenly Father, all things are possible! My knowledge of Theology prolly leaves a lot to be desired to others. Latin is not a language I’m familiar with, heck I struggled with Spanish! I did OK in Morse Code though, if that could be considered another language.
