While the Biden administration and its allies in the mainstream media highlight a reduction in illegal immigration since the termination of a Trump-era restriction known as Title 42, Mexican drug cartels have seized unprecedented control of the nation’s southwest border. The president’s reckless open border policies have greatly facilitated the business model of Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs) operating in the region and throughout the United States, according to
congressional testimony delivered recently by federal sources in counterterrorism, intelligence and drug enforcement.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Another sunny, hot day, with no appreciable rain predicted. Plan is for cool foods like fruits and veggies, but GGS wants to make brownies! Maybe I’ll just buy a box at the bakery so I can reduce the heat in the house…

I used to put my toaster oven, a rather large one I guess, out on the table on the patio and cook in it when the temps were up around 100* when I was in S. Cal.

Food first! National Chili Dog Day – hot dogs again!

National Crème Brûlée Day – eat your dessert early and often

National Scotch Day and National Refreshment Day ( the last one seems obvious for mid-summer)

National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day

    National Intern Day

National Love is Kind Day – kinda redundant

National New Jersey Day – anybody out there from Jersey? Speak up!

Today is the Congressional Hearing on UFOs and Alien Life. Always fun to hear about the encounters and photos. And believe the Independence Day movie scenes about Area 51.

Personally, I think “They” have been here a lot longer than we have, and don’t travel back and forth to their home planets frequently but are ensconced under the ocean or ice caps. They come out occasionally to tease us! Possibly they were the people on Atlantis, and just took their advanced civilization into semi-hiding when European people started exploring the world. Of course they could walk among us because they look like us, maybe they are the very Congress critters who interfere with finding them…

I can say I have never lost my coffee cup in my hand. However, I have lost my keys in my hand, my glasses on my head, a necklace around my neck, and my credit card in my purse (this one in the last few days).

Bingo on the glasses in my hair! Looked for almost an hour! My pen knife fell in between cushions on the sofa, that was a month ’til I opted to lift said cushions, LOL!

Mornin’ All. It was in the low 50’s last night and cool when we went for our walk. They said the temps were coming down and in a few days we will be in the 40’s. I am happy with that. And, there is a clear blue sky. Beautiful.

I am finally getting to see a dermatologist. No problems, just need to go once a year. So, I need to go take a shower and get ready. I checked on a groomer for Loki yesterday and they wanted $70. She is getting really shaggy. I need a plan.

Okay. Hope the weather is better where you are than it has been. So have a nice day.

I’m doing some pruning/trimming today. In short time-swatches. Pleasant day–with record low temperatures overnight right now. I keep watching the NOAA graphical maps across the country and am very aware of the 24/7 suffering that many states are enduring. Two years ago, we had a week or so off 112 and above with lows in the high 80s at night. That nearly finished me and, thankfully, did NOT finish my old AC!! Goodness, they made stuff to LAST back-in-the-day!

I am realizing that I will just keep planting more carrots and more potatoes and more onions, and forget everything else, except container tomatoes and the perennial asparagus patch. I enjoy going out in the morning and pulling a couple carrots and digging a potatoe plant to get veggie for the next day or two. And since the ground never freezes here in central Oregon, I can leave them in dirt storage for a long time into the fall. Very convenient!

This was a zucchini year, so I have that in volume right now but once I have frozen 10-15 bags for future use, that’s enough for a couple of years. Almost every zucchini recipe I’ve ever used calls for 2 cups grated zucchini and 1 C veg-oil, so I just freeze those two items in a one-quart freezer bag, and they’re ready to use when I go to baking.

More on the southern border atrocity. By itself, the policy of essentially encouraging invasion is an impeachable offense for Biden since he refuses to do his duty of protecting our borders and lies about his efforts to make himself look good.

Repeating the obvious…without doubt, our wimpy Congress GOP is all talk. Impeachment won’t be successful even if they have the guts to put the procedure into play. Our enemies are being enabled every single day to eliminate America. What can our conclusion be except that’s the way the Bidenhandlers want it?

Mexican Authorities Spot Truck with US Border Patrol Decals, Then Making Shocking Discovery Inside
    By Samantha Chang – July 26, 2023

The treacherous border crisis exacerbated by President Joe Biden’s reckless policies has incentivized predatory human traffickers to victimize illegal aliens desperate to sneak into the United States.

104.4* on the back porch. Took Hannah out for a minute and she came back with a rat sized mole in the mouth. Took over 5 minutes to get her to drop it in the grass, then drag her back in. Never saw one in our yard before, but we suspected they weee there because periodically the dogs go nuts digging.

WATCH: Seemingly ‘INJURED’ Jan 6 Capitol Police officer walks around … UNINJURED?!
Posted by Glenn Beck on July 27, 2023

Capitol Police officer Aquilino Gonell has claimed he was brutally beaten by Trump supporters in the January 6 Capitol riot. But new footage released by the Epoch Times appears to show Gonell walking around in the Capitol after the riot with no indication of any injury. Journalist Julie Kelly joins Glenn to review the footage and explain what she believed actually happened. Plus, she lays out why she believes another Jan. 6 committee is necessary: “January 6 is ground zero for turning the war on terror…against conservatives.”

Stella, on my posting of the Glenn Beck video of January 6th information, something bizarre is going on. Can you see the video link? Or is there some sort of verification that they are demanding of me to assure them I’m not a bot? Like they care about bots?

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I’m confused since even when I put in the info they request, the post remains frozen.

Perhaps January 6th items are being tracked and we’re going on a list somewhere to make sure we aren’t supporters of justice for the J6 political prisoners.

I’m seeing the Beck video now in the comment feed. What they were demanding of me was so bizarre that it’s hard to explain.

I send a lot of videos out every day, not just the ones I post here or at other blogs. They said I was forwarding so many that they were concerned I was a bot!!! THIS after sending out thousands of videos all over the country for YEARS.

        ????????????????
