    Good Sunday to you, Stellars! How about a visit to the rivers of Greece….

    The Arda River is 180 miles and shared with Turkey…

    The Haliacmon River runs 185 miles between the Pindus Range and the Aegean Sea and is the longest river wholly in Greece…

    The Maritsa River flows for 299 miles, and creates the borderline between Greece and Turkey…

    The Vardar River is shared with Macedonia, and flows for 241 miles within the country…

    Not much variety to appreciate today.

    National Collector Car Appreciation Day – I used to have a 1933 Chevy 2 door coupe. Let’s give it up for people who are willing to spend hard earned money and time to make these cars beautiful.

    National Sugar Cookie Day – I never pick this kind of cookie, unless someone dipped it in chocolate. Someone else can appreciate these.

    National Dimples Day – did you know you can have a plastic surgeon create dimples on your face?

      Dimples are cute, but they seem to become large wrinkles in older age! Heh!!

      Hi, czarina! I’d be happy to have this as a start to a car collection…1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible…

      And these aren’t exactly sugar cookies but really delicious…

      As for dimples, they only look adorable on babies…

    Our Favorite Sunday Columnist has some thoughts on the injunction against the Feds in “talking” to social media companies. As a couple of her commenters mention, I’m not sure this ruling is as fearsome as some on our side seem to think it is. We know this crew running things up there and ink on paper doesn’t seem to deter them from their nefarious activities. I know I’m running late, but coffee’s on the way. 😉

      I had seen a few mentions of connections I questioned a while back. I have no interest in him because of that. It seems it is even worse than I thought.

    Afternoon All. It is late morning here and almost 80*, with a mostly clear sky. I didn’t go to church because I am sure I have a sinus infection and still have that “other” problem. I am going to what I hope is an Urgent Care. It is part of the same system, but calls itself “Family Health Care”. That usually means an abortion clinic. We will see. I am going to check it out. I probably will spend the rest of the day there.

        Thanks. I did. Wow. I am already back. There was no one in the waiting room and I got called back very quickly. I saw a really nice PA and she seemed pretty thorough and I was out of there. Everybody there is so nice.

        It is 98* here right now. Hot! I guess my air conditioner will be running later this afternoon. Right now it is very cool in my apartment. They have put very good insulation in these walls.

      Glad the medical visit was helpful, aus! Sometimes the PAs are about as knowledgeable as a doctor. The ones I’ve been assigned have all been great.

      We’re not experiencing quite as hot weather as you, but are at 95 right now and that’s plenty for me. I can’t yet feel it as the apartment has remained cool for some reason.
