Finally someone has the guts to say it to his face.

The point is, Mr. Pence, you didn’t even TRY to address the concerns of patriotic Americans regarding voting irregularities, manipulation of voting machines, the takeover of vote counting by the Dems, or the collusion of social and other media. Drop out of the 2024 race NOW. Nuts to you from Lucille.

I don’t think Trump is wrong…no VP in history was presented with this particular magnitude of voting fraud and manipulation. Pence did have power but was’t inclined to use it.

Why would he? Then he doesn’t ever get invited to the cool kids parties. That’s important for the people who inhabit this rathole. Or as some say……politics…..it’s like Hollywood for ugly people.

Afternoon All. This is auscitzenmom. It says 63* on my patio in the shade, but I can assure you all that it is much warmer out in the sun. I went to do laundry this morning and just got back all sweaty, which is unusual here. The air conditioner may run today for a while.

Hope you all have a nice day.

Hello, aus! Lucille here. We’re at 78 right now but will be 90 around 4:00. I didn’t even go out to get mail or deposit trash yesterday…way too hot…and turned on the air conditioner. Doctor says I need to do better re hydration. Advice is five 16.9 bottles or equivalent plain herbal tea. Yeah, like floating in the stuff! LOL!

“A War Crime” – Joe Biden Turns US into International Enemy #1 – Will Send Thousands of Cluster Bombs to Ukraine Despite These Weapons Being Against US Law and Banned by 120 Countries
By Jim Hoft Jul. 7, 2023 9:00 am

The Biden regime is doing its best to ruin the United States’ good name on the world stage. Biden has opened the border, flooded the US with millions of illegals, destroyed the US energy sector, blown up inflation, jailed political prisoners, indicted the top opposition candidate, cracked down on First Amendment rights, surrendered to the Taliban, armed the barbarians with 80 billion dollars in US equipment, pushed the world to the brink of World War III, and propped up an imbecile with dementia as leader of the free world.

The last one is the least done. How about saying, “I forgive all you lowdown, dirty, no-good, pathetic skunks and scoundrels who commit crimes against our nation and so far are getting away with it, but you gotta confess to your malfeasance and spend the rest of your lousy lives in prison anyway”?

And I’ll have a large box of Godiva Assorted Chocolate Gold Gift Box, Gold Ribbon, 105 pc. @$165.00….

The zucchini harvest has begun….slowly, at least. Just took my first two zucchini bread loaves out of the oven. My garden is less expansive than last year, in terms of variety and quantity, but really looking good. Carrots, onions, beets, potatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini are all going to be so useful for me, and that’s about it this year. The aparagus is still settling in–should start producing next year, I hope. I had not realized how it takes for asparagus to set–looking forward to that first harvest!

And I always get a good crop of garlic from the faithful garlic bed that was here when we moved here in January of 2012. I had never used garlic much for cooking before, and have really appreciated having that ready supply. It stores so easily over-winter, as long as I keep it dry (exposed to the air) it seems to last almost indefinitely.

We have to plant our garlic every year…same there, Sharon?
Do you harvest the ‘scapes’ before garlic is ready? Nice, strong garlicky flavor in your favorite pesto sauce recipe!
Had a gopher pull three entire garlic plants this year before the big steel jaws got ‘im!

Gophers are part of that God-created food chain and have many natural predators…cats being one. Hope you have several kitties roaming the property awaiting their gopher with garlic for dinner.

I do not replant the garlic every year. When I go to harvest them, I just a few of the small bits in the ground, and that’s ready for next year. Of course, the ground never freezes here in the Willamette Valley/OR. I don’t remember where you are…..

I do not “harvest the scapes”….that makes a lot of sense. Will have to share that with my son who is quite the chef, always looking for ideas and recipes. Thank you!

President Trump Drops By Dairy Queen – and it was Epic!
Published July 7, 2023 – SMG News Wire

President Trump was campaigning across Iowa on Friday — and that included making a pit stop at Dairy Queen in Council Bluffs. Hundreds of people piled into the restaurant hoping to catch a glimpse of the former president. The huge crowd chanted, “U-S-A, U-S-A!” When he wasn’t posing for photos, the president handed out Blizzards.

Am I the only one who thinks this whole deBlasio “thing” is just weird. Nothing much makes sense anymore. It’s like dogs talking to cats. Fish talking to deer. Nothing makes sense. These self-absorbed people have no idea how goofy they look to us more normal kind of folk.
