        I was going to make a smart remark about looking up “pugging” in the dictionary and not finding it. However:

        “Pugging – noun
        The process of mixing and working clay for bricks, etc.
        In architecture, any composition laid under the boards of a floor, or on partition-walls, to prevent the transmission of sound. Also called deadening or deafening.

    Mornin’ All. Oh, right, afternoon. It is in the 50’s right now with an overcast sky, and probably was in the 40’s overnight. A bit on the chilly side. Actually like the dead of winter in Florida. My DIL said it snowed last year in June, so anything could happen. No snow this morning. Loki doesn’t care either way.

    I am waiting to hear from the apartment mgr about what more information she might need from me for the new apartment. I sure w0uld like to get this settled before the weekend. Of course, that may not happen. Patience, patience, I know I need to have patience.

    Well, please watch the weather and stay safe. It looks awful down there.

    Watching this video from Whittle and co., Bill suggests that a good slogan for the 2024 campaign would be “Make America Free Again”, and that the hat should be blue.

    So. It last rained Monday night, hard for about 10 minutes with lots of wind, covering my porch with pine needles. Since then, every day has held the promise of hard rain, yet none has come here. Sometimes it gets near enough to send some light blow-by, then separates and goes around my area. Czar and I used to laugh about how the rain would do that. Thee must be a climatological anomaly with a little wall that comes up…

    Meanwhile, they say it might rain a lot tomorrow.

    Seems like some sports teams and their league honchos might be getting the message that not all are enamored with the rainbow freak shows and jerseys. Apparently, they don’t want the Bud Light backlash. 😀 😀 😀

    Speaking of ridiculousness, looks like a new corona jab will be out this fall. I’m sure y’all will be lining up early to get your jab! Er, I mean all those idjits driving around by themselves with their masks on will be lining up! 😉

      I had the Corona vaccine in December 2020, and the virus in January 2021. No boosters. Haven’t had the virus again. Can’t see why I’d need another vaccine, since I have gone 2 1/2 years without getting it with it all around me all that time…

        See how ya are! You need it, and you need it yesterday!! Otherwise you will probably keel some small children……….or something. I will be very interested to see what kind of response comes out of this. I’m thinking they’ll be lucky to hit 15-20%, or likely less. A whole bunch of folks have now seen the curtain get pulled back and they don’t trust these people. But I’ve been wrong before.
