Lovely veg garden in a lovely part of the world for growing things. Quite an investment there, as those stock tanks alone are hundreds. Here in Eastern OR, our greenhouse is finally producing; last night, salad with mixed home-grown greens. We’re still eating onions from last fall – a wonderful veg to grow!

That is a beautiful garden up top. Apparently they don’t have a d*mn deer and raccoon population that eats all of their………………..stuff. Speakin’ for a friend here. Mornin’, all.

Afternoon All. Sunny/cloudy here and 65*. It was very pleasant to walk this morning. Loki is over the moon during her walks. I will spend a lot of time today sorting and getting rid of “stuff”. I may go to the laundromat, too, although that usually wears me out.

Have a nice day. Hope your weather is good.

My heart goes out to you, mom. As a newlywed, I’d drive to the laundromat, load the washers, run 3 blocks home, run back down and load ’em in the dryers, run home then run back down and drive home with the clean clothes.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could find a rental with laundy on premises?

Agree! I don’t think I ever lived in an apartment where they didn’t have laundry facilities on the grounds.

Well, this one is only 5 min away, but I have to load the bags of clothes onto a cart and run them to the car. Then unload them and take them in, hoping a washer will be available. It is 20 min for a wash and then 40 for a dry. I go back out and sit in the car with Loki. The first 20 min goes fast, but the dryer seems to take a long time. The worst problem was in the winter with the snow and ice. It is a very nice laundromat with a nice attendant who is extremely helpful and paying is by phone or card at the counter. No coins. That is a plus.

Yes, I was hoping I could get a place that at least had a hookup forma washer and dryer, but I don’t think that is in the cards. This place I am looking at has a few apartments with hookups, but I am sure they are the 2 bedroom units. They have a laundry facility in the complex and it is a small one, so not like having to go in the car.

In case anyone was wondering, the stupid has not stopped in The Swamp. Brandon and the others running Romper Room on the Potomac still require visitors to wear masks and social distance if not fully jabbed. Wonder if Soros and his minions have to do that?
