Stayed up past my bedtime, so the coffee is ready when y’all get going ahead of me. Grab a cup and sit a spell.

Mornin’ wee and all ya’all! Sunny, tiny cool breeze at grass level. Gotta do housekeeping since friends are coming this afternoon to fish and enjoy my backyard and spa. Have a GREAT day!

Hi everybody! Beautiful day here – cooling down for the week into the 70’s and low 80’s. No rain in the forecast for the next week, and we could really use some rain.

Apparently, Clarice is still on vacation, so I thought I would share this little ditty about the continued overkill reaction to the corona. If you visit a gym regularly, and see them spraying down all the equipment continuously, this might be an issue. These are not duck qacs, apparently.

Our term today is “Regulatory Capture”. Because it sounds so much better than incestuous or fascist. Lest you think I’m being a bit hyperbolic, this FTA –

All told, this system constitutes not a free market but a corporatist structure more worthy of Mussolini’s Italy than the country that once embraced free enterprise. Once you look carefully at what’s really going on under the hood of the regulatory state, you can’t help but be stunned.

And we have accepted these relationships for so long (e.g. Labor with unions) nothing is likely to change.

All it would really take is for one POTUS with big brass ones to withdraw a certain EO, and the 10% of the working population currently protected by unions would probably drop back to a percentage that coincides with the number of people who believe in the same things that Dylan Mulvaney does.

Good Afternoon. It is sunny with some clouds here and perfectly warm. We had Bible Study before Church this morning, at 8:30 and I need a nap now. LOL. After that I am going to have dinner with the kids. Looking forward to that. Hope your day is good.
