What is this “Pride” month? Don’t you have to do something special to feel pride? Personally, I wouldn’t say I was proud to be gay! In fact, during my time in the military, if one were gay, they would in essence be a closet gay, for to be proud and expose it, one might be coming home from Vietnam in a casket! Which begs the question of why are we celebrating a month for gays, but only celebrating our true hero types that DO come home from battle in a casket, with only 1 day (Memorial Day)?
