Pretty thin list today:
National Lucky Penny Day. Hadn’t thought about a luck penny in decades.
National Taffy Day. Don’t care for it, mostly because it’s not chocolate…
National Day to End Obstetric Fistula. Now that’s specific! But I guess everything should have an equal chance of having a day designated for it.

Picking up a penny is being environmentally conscious!
Put that penny towards some chocolate-flavored taffy.
And be thankful that we like in a country where women are much less likely to have the aforementioned injury due to better health care in child birth.

Mornin’ All. 44* here this morning with a beautiful clear blue sky. Yesterday it was pretty ugly in the morning, but cleared up and was a nice day. I’m enjoying the weather here.
The pressure is on today. I couldn’t get t
he letter from the doctor redone last week and now the pressure is on for me to sign the lease without taking off the pet charge. I don’t know how to make this happen when I am not in control of the people who have to do it. If I can get another letter written I will go over an pick it up and deliver it to the mgmt company myself. I just hope I haven’t lost my chance to have that $75/mo taken off.

Fear not. Explain why there is a delay.
They have already said that they would remove the charge. Hold them to it. Explain that you are attempting to obtain another copy.
What happened to the original letter? Who lost it? That may be a lever in your favor.

LOL. Sorry, I often leave out important details when I write. The first letter was sent to them, but it took days to get it to them since I don’t have an Iphone. Then, when they finally got it, they wanted some different language in it that they didn’t explain clearly and none of us involved could figure out what it was. So, they did get the first letter, but it took several days to get a new letter written, partly because the letter writer was off on Friday and Monday. I have been assured that the $75 will come off the rent. That is even though they haven’t gotten the 2nd letter.

Reflection is right. You already provided them with a letter. What happened to it? That isn’t your fault and you are trying to help them by getting another copy. Stand firm.

They are so afraid of the fact of their own death and, apparently, refuse to do anything about THAT.
It’s kind weird to realize how crazy I was able to drive them–just because I didn’t do what they wanted me to do. Weird.
