I’m totally ragged, as I stayed up all night watching the coronation, then fell asleep in front of my computer just before King Charles III and Queen Camilla came out on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Hopefully somewhere in the world someone was chowing down on a great tamale watching the whole spectacle. I had to watch it on replay….

Evening All. Yesterday my computer was alllllll messed up for some reason. Thursday I had received an email from the mgmt company of the apartment complex saying they want to know if I am going to renew my lease. The rent is going up $200 a month. I have to find something else. I have until next Sat to tell them. My lease isn’t up until the 1st of July. I have found a few vacancies, but most are too expensive. This next week is going to be busy.
Went to the wedding this afternoon. It had been raining all night and was still raining. It dropped down into the low 40’s and was very cold. When I got to the church, the electricity was off and the water was off…………all over that section of the county. But, they had those battery candles down each side of the aisle along with that thin material and flowers. It was quite beautiful. Everything turned out well. They are a darling young couple. Victoria looked like an angel.
Anyway, it is late now and I am tired. Hope you all had a good day.

Good morning, aus! Glad the wedding was so lovely. That puts a great cap on any day.
It’s upsetting to hear that your rent is going up by $200 per month. I thought the raise on my place was bad at $180. If services go up by that amount it might be conscionable for a landlord to raise rents. However, that seldom happens. My complex looks worse than it did before our raises. I sure hope you can find something reasonable. God bless!

Thank you. My DIL said she will go with me to see what we can find this week. There is one log cabin that is cute inside that is cheap, but it is sort of out with only a few other homes around it. I might be scared at night there. And, I can’t remember, but I might be able to pay month to month. We will see.
