Happy Thursday, Stellars! Time to visit a beautiful beach….

Elafonissi Beach in Crete, Greece (yes, it’s pink sand)…

    Whitehaven Beach, Queensland, Australia…

Maya Bay, Phi Phi Leh, Thailand…

    Keansburg, Raritan Bay, New Jersey…

Beautiful beaches in lovely settings. Even the weather cooperated.

What gorgeous photos to see upon opening today’s discussions, including Stella’s flowers.

Agreed. And grace, mercy and peace upon us as well, as we seek to maintain it.

Thank you for the reminder, Lucille.

Thank YOU, Reflection! That particular verse is a reminder to myself to adhere to the command to pray for those in authority over us. Like the command to pray for our enemies, it’s one of the most difficult to follow.

It doesn’t say that we should pray that God will bless the political actions of government. Instead it’s a prayer that they will do what’s right in God’s eyes and will pursue policies which will leave us in peace. Seems to me there’s nothing in the verse that prevents us from praying for evil policies to be defeated or for individuals who espouse those policies to be thrown out of office.

Nowadays media reports show that government often is not doing its job to keep the peace or to allow us to live peaceably without fear of harm. Praying that individuals turn away from their wicked ways and toward God and His ways is the key.

Remember when on Monday the newspaper always printed a photo of the president and family going to church the day before?

Good morning everyone. Beautiful day here, but rain is coming. Almost a week of it, they say.

Several weeks ago we had a little discussion about ouija boards and the demonic. This article describes something along those lines, and the aftermath.

I just now was able to take the time to read the article you shared here, Menagerie.

Like the author of the article, I am not afraid of the devil or his demons; however, I want as little to do with him/them as possible. I have no interest in playing around about the subject. I have no curiosity about what he does or how he does it.

On specific occasions, I had had to deal directly with manifestations but those situations are brief–have a beginning, a middle, and an end. If the Lord’s leading is clear, I will involve as necessary–otherwise, absolutely not.

Thank you for sharing the link.

Good morning everybody! It’s a beautiful day here, temps in the 50’s, but sunny. I am happy to report that Tucker is much better. It seems that his nausea and vomiting was caused by taking Prilosec (prescribed by the vet for 5 days). As soon as he stopped taking it, he was much better. Just letting you know in case you run into a similar situation.

Glad to know Tucker is better. Our canine and feline buddies add so much to our lives. It’s distressing when they are having problems. I found this prayer recently, written by Bob Hostetler…

      Prayer for a Sick Animal

      Merciful God,
you created all things for your glory
and have graciously allowed us this animal to love.
Please look kindly on him and restore him to health and strength.
Please deliver her from fear and pain,
and grant us wisdom in our care for her,
in the name of Jesus, amen.

Afternoon All. My computer would not let me on this morning. I could get my emails, but I could not read what was in them. Very strange. But, it fixed itself finally. Another beautiful day here. It is the kind of day where you can open the windows and air out the apartment, something I missed doing in the winter here and in Florida the year round. If there was ever a day in Florida that wasn’t humid, somebody would be burning trash, garbage and whatever else smells and smokes badly.

Well, got housework to do, and laundry to sort. Have a nice day.
