On this day, Holy Monday, Jesus cursed the fig tree:

Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

This is how the country falls. Allowing foreign nationals to run our system. Do these people have America’s best interest at heart? Or do they want to fundamentally change our system? Does “The One” Kenyan ring any bells? “The One” who “would NOT'” produce an official birth certificate! Is there any better evidence of our issue on our borders? But as a citizen coming in to my own country, I must provide a passport and/or a official birth certificate? What is a form of ID? The Drivers License is one form. Guess what some states give away for free with no strings attached? Now does it look a little more obvious at what the Democrats are up to? Open border states are one such common denominator for us to connect dots! Voter fraud comes into better focus now, no? Strange how I had a Top Secret with Crypto Access clearance (in Vietnam era) that would be revoked had I married ANY foreign national! Yet no one says a damn thing about strangers crossing our borders and running to control our country?

In the 1990s, Rush Limbaugh frequently spent time explaining and shining light on the fact that the democrats (not yet clearly identified as the left) were exerting a conscious effort to control the Secretaries of State offices/appointments in all fifty states.

Consider, for instance, Keith Ellison, the Moslem who is Secretary of State in Minnesota. He’s in a position to not only cause bad things to get embedded in state practices but also to prevent good things.

The influence that the SOS has is considerable and becomes a foundational source for influence and policy.

I wonder how much of the destruction presently being implemented has its roots in those state offices.

It may be that the Republic is like the Titanic: by the time the majority realizes how deep the damage is, the time for recovery is long past.

That is not the same as having no hope for our future, either as a nation or as individuals, but it’s important not to be wasting time with pretense that may give a feeling of safety.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Grey again, back to drippy humidity (weather person calls it “tropical”) and mid80’s temps. Edging into summer with record temps everyday this week.

Can’t mow as the grass is wet. Maybe a day to do some sewing. Have a good day, ya’all!

Don’t get your panties in a wad! The software threw your post in spam (it happens to many people and for no discernable reason), and I just got around to checking and letting you out. There is only me here.

Well Stella, what I would say is we reap what we sow! If we sow censorship, we will reap the benefits of censorship. If we allow software to be our guiding light, then we can kiss our country good-bye. Software can be “coded” in many ways. What I was pointing out is all truth from history. The only thing left to censor me was the “D” word and that is quite normal in today’s vocabulary. I believe you will find that word or form of that word in our Christian Bible. My apologies to any that were offended. Strong feelings beget strong words. It’s not easy witnessing the destruction of one’s country through lack of love and sanity.

          Dear Pa,

Most of the spam that the filter catches is absolute filth – links to pornography. Some is just advertising. Very rarely it catches the post of a regular – usually because the post is unusually long with no breaks (one sign of spam) or because there are too many links.

I think using the spam filter is useful, though not perfect. If you could see the crap that ends up there, I think you would agree with me. Later, when there is something in there, I will take a screen cap so you can see (but won’t be able to click links.)

The content of your post had nothing to do with why it ended up in spam. If you really believe that allowing all content – including porn – on my site would be beneficial, I would love to hear the justification for it.

After re-reading that post Stella, it may be a slightly long post, but the paragraph was all on the subject matter. If porn starts to show on any of the sites I visit, I will be history. I included no advertising. Maybe it would be better for the site If I just seriously reduced my input. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the many hours I have spent reading here.

I truly don’t understand why you are upset. You have not been singled out, and just about every site on the internet uses a spam filter – including the Conservative Treehouse/Last Refuge. He does, and always has, used a spam filter. The software does make mistakes now and then, and your comment was one of them. That is why I review what is put into the spam queue, and decide what is and is not spam. Most of it is.

If you have a better way to eliminate porn and advertising on our sites, I would be interested.

I released it as soon as I checked the spam queue. Since there is only me here, and I was otherwise engaged this morning, that took a while. You should not feel that you can’t post here. Have I ever refused you?

Maybe becoming a senior, my posts are becoming rather strong, and I should temper them, so thanks in advance of my direction going in the wrong way. We will course correct. Content is not why your comment was flagged. It was a software misjudgement. Many people have been caught at CTH over the years. If you were not, then you were fortunate. It wasn’t a personal decision to spam your comment, and I reversed it as soon as I saw it. No need to “temper” your comments. It has nothing to do with automated spam management. If I think you are out of line, I will tell you, and not hide behind software. I’m not a scaredy cat.

If you have any questions about how the spam filter works, I will be happy to explain. It never makes permanent decisions about comments; everything is reviewed by me before being permanent deleted, or allowed to appear. Just as I released your comment earlier today.

Afternoon All. 31* and sunny right now. The snow that fell over the weekend is all melted and the dead, brown grass is showing. The maintenance guy mowed it last Friday, but I don’t know why. Maybe he was just warming up the mower. There were clouds covering all the mountains surrounding this valley and I figured it was snowing on those mountains yesterday. The clouds are all gone today. You know, we actually have pretty nice weather here, excluding the below 0* that we experienced before Christmas. LOL. That was a bit much.

Got chores to do. So, hope your weather is good. And, I pray no more tornadoes.

As one who worked in Intelligence in the military, I can grasp the censorship thing. I don’t hold anything towards you or anyone else. I was censored the moment I hit “Enter” on the keyboard. Just what was it that triggered the hold for moderation if it wasn’t the “damn” word? Was it “The One”? Or the Kenyan? I find it hard to believe the length of my posting was too long. It wasn’t eating up too much space either. That is what popped into my head the moment it was held or whatever happened as I went to see it posted. I don’t recall reading any of what I posted as forbidden or whatever, when I read the guidelines for posting long ago.

I don’t know why. All of the words you mention have been used here before without the comments being sent to spam. I mentioned length and links because those are often – not always – the reasons why a comment is flagged. Guidelines, as posted either here or at CTH, are our guidelines, and aren’t linked to the spam filter software. If you want to know more about the software, it is called Akismet. I don’t think content had anything to do with being sent to spam, but I don’t know the reason.

We’ve definitely got to do something to show our displeasure at their trashing the rule of law in America.

Something I woke up thinking about today is what President Trump can do when the leftie judge who is not interested in justice puts a gag order on him…go ahead and have the rallies. President Trump can be there on the stage but will say nothing at all. Donald, Jr. and Eric Trump can handle the main speeches. All the governmental officials from each state who attend will handle the auxiliary speeches. Can the judge prevent him from doing this? I don’t see how unless they imprison him.

A friend sent me this excerpt on the indictment by an Alaskan columnist named Alex G….

“Indictment. Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg indicted Donald Trump Friday on 30-34 various charges, some of them felonies. Apparently, he had two Grand Juries working, one on the Stormy Daniels charges, and one on financial charges associated with the Trump organization.

“It is the Trump organization charges that carry the most danger for Trump as Bragg and his co-conspirators carefully selected the judge who presided over the trial, plea bargain, and conviction of the CFO of the Trump organization on various financial charges earlier this year. Over the weekend, there were reports that the judge will impose a gag order on Trump early this week. That order may or may not coincide with the arrest and arraignment. A gag order on a presidential candidate, what a concept. What better way to meddle with an election than that?

“This should be a most interesting week, as democrats do their level best to trigger another Republican protest they can turn into the next iteration of the Jan 6 so-called insurrection. Bragg won’t be the only state DA doing this. I expect another 8-10 Trump indictments starting with Georgia over Trump’s reaction to election fraud in Fulton County in 2020.

“They will be closely followed by Garland’s hand-picked Special Counsel Jack Smith looking into the Mar-a-Lago classified material and Jan 6 charges. Every single one of these is being pursued for two reasons. First, and foremost to damage Trump. Second, if at all possible, to trigger some sort of reaction out of Republicans they can mangle into insurrection 2.0.”
