Loveliest of Trees, the Cherry Now

Loveliest of trees, the cherry now
Is hung with bloom along the bough,
And stands about the woodland ride
Wearing white for Eastertide.
Now, of my threescore years and ten,
Twenty will not come again,
And take from seventy springs a score,
It only leaves me fifty more.
And since to look at things in bloom
Fifty springs are little room,
About the woodlands I will go
To see the cherry hung with snow.

This taco stand was EMPTY.. So we bought 400 Tacos! 🌮
The Los Angeles County Fairgrounds is in Pomona. When I was a kid, the Fair always gave free tickets to the school children in surrounding cities. Each school district had its own day, and the schools gave everyone that day off from classes. So I went from kindergarten through 2 years of college (college-age had to pay) and we’d see all our friends and their families. I still have a bamboo cane which I won at one of the game tents…it’s in my living room hall tree this very moment…LOL!

Good afternoon, czarina! One weather site says it’s supposed to rain today and another says it’ll be partially cloudy. As we all know, precise predictions are a sometime thing. Right now, though, the sun is shining in my window and it’s 46 degrees.

Afternoon All. Got up and went to Urgent Care this morning and they saw me right away and sent a prescription to Walmart. And, I have an appt to see a doctor in a couple of weeks. Going to Urgent Care was the right thing to do. I was told they had just switched over to a new area wide phone system last year and it still has some kinks.
Those storms going across country are awful. Everybody stay safe.
