    Good Wednesday morning, Stellars!

On this day in 44 BC—the famous Ides of March—Julius Caesar was assassinated at the meeting hall named the Curia of Pompey…

My favorite factoid: the area is now inhabited by a feral cat colony…

Curia of Pompey – Where Julius Caesar Was Murdered

” The Death of Julius Caesar” by Vincenzo Camuccini (1771-1844), Museo Nazionale di Capodimonte, Napoli…

    Typical of our woke era….

REVEALED: Only ONE member of failed SVB’s board had a career in investment banking – and the rest were Obama, Clinton mega-donors who ‘grieved’ when Trump won including one who went to Shinto shrine ‘to pray’

Tom King, 63, was the only member of the Silicon Valley Bank board who had experience in investment banking. The others were major Obama and Clinton mega-donors, including one who cried when Trump won in 2016. The board is now being investigated for its failure to act ahead of the bank’s collapse, as some argue it was too focused on being woke.

California reparations: What happens when the reparations recipients run out of money and their free houses fall down due to neglect?

Studies have shown that giving away things/ property doesn’t work in the long run. The recipients don’t feel a sense of ownership or responsibility because they didn’t work for it.

These studies stem from research on the white savior syndrome of going to other countries and fixing communities. It doesn’t work. I was taught this by a Hispanic professor who emigrated from Mexico but still worked with Mexico on helping communities. Maybe he was one of those white hispanics.

Remember those houses brad Pitt built and gave away in New Orleans? After years of no maintenance, they were falling apart and the recipients were screaming racism. They felt they were badly constructed and that’s why they fell apart.

In California, who is going to maintain those free houses?

Suggestion – y’all all get together, save what youse guys and Pop want to keep and then have an estate sale for the rest. You’d be surprised what folks will buy – and you won’t have to move any of it.

We had a yard sale when my mother died in 98. She was a hoarder. I thought danged near everything she owned was garbage but in a few hours we sold an amazing amount of crap.

An estate sale would be a great way to go.

Oh T, I went through that. Took me four+ months with my mom’s house. Some help from my kids, husband, and a sister in law. We were all working or in school full time, so it was double awful.

In her case, she had the house and four outbuilding full to the roof.

And she also had not stored valuables anywhere you could find them, including a life insurance policy. I had to put my hands on everything rather than just throw that crap away. My brother totally got out of helping by declaring that he “just wasn’t ready to deal with it so soon after her death.” He never got ready either.

    Prominent Conservatives Call Trump ‘Autistic’
By Todd Starnes – Published March 15, 2023

Were the men working off talking points? Is there some sort of a behind-the-scenes effort to portray the former president as unstable? It’s all very strange and quite frankly — dangerous.

The Biden administration has turned the southwest border into a meaningless line in the sand and little more than a speedbump for aliens flooding into the country, according to a scathing federal court order blasting the president’s controversial catch-and-release policy. Known as Parole Plus Alternative to Detention (Parole+ATD) the program released over a million illegal immigrants in the U.S. in a year, supposedly tracking them with technology and other tools. Florida officials filed a lawsuit in 2021, accusing the Biden administration of violating immigration laws with policies that freed illegal aliens from detention after entering the country via the Mexican border. The state alleged that releasing illegal immigrants impacts it because about 100,000 ended up in Florida, increasing healthcare, education, and criminal justice costs.

NEW: Pentagon Says UFO Mothership Potentially in Our Solar System

On March 7, a draft research report was released, co-authored by Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), and Abraham Loeb, chairman of Harvard University’s astronomy department. The report discusses the physical limitations of unidentified aerial phenomena and suggests that aliens may be visiting our solar system and deploying smaller probes similar to NASA’s planetary exploration missions. Dr. Kirkpatrick is a highly experienced expert in scientific and technical intelligence.

The paper dives into the possibility of an interstellar object being a parent craft that releases many small probes during its close passage to Earth, similar to a NASA mission. These small probes could be separated from the parent craft by the tidal gravitational force of the Sun or by a maneuvering capability. They also derive physical constraints on the interpretations of highly maneuverable unidentified aerial phenomena based on standard physics and known forms of matter and radiation. The lack of certain signatures could imply inaccurate distance measurements for single site sensors without a range gate capability.

I’ve been out-of-pocket for a few days, but wanted to let y’all know we had our first hummer at el Gordito on 3/8/23. Usual arrival date has historically been on 3/14, but last year because of the weird winter it was around 3/20 IIRC.
