Good day, weather. You note the kitty parents have wood floors. There are a number of channels devoted to MaineCoons and I bet the proprietors all do, too.

My friend has a black cat that is huge and has a very long fluffy tail. She is just certain he is a Maine Coon. He. is extremely playful and has the sweetest disposition. And, when she calls him, he always comes running. It is obvious that he appreciates living with her.

Good afternoon, aus! Does he have the long fur tufts off the tips of his ears? Combined with his other characteristics, that would be a good sign of being a MaineCoon.

Just a quick update on the feral cat that has taken over my heart. I spent the last two weeks working on healing the lesions in “Buddy’s” eyes and other than a couple of episode’s he’s been an easy cat to medicate.
I took him back to the vet on Wednesday and the lesions are healed, but now I have to medicate his eyes for another two weeks with another medication in hopes of restoring a little more vision to the clouded eyes.
I’ve been slowly introducing him to my other three furbabies and after a few very dicey fights, things have settled down enough that last night “Buddy” followed me to bed and “protected” me throughout the night.
He’ll be free to resume his feral life when the weather warms, but I have a feeling he’s going to stay put. :0)

How wonderful, litenmaus! Your family has expanded. Buddy knows a good deal when he sees one, even with cloudy eyes.

Buddy has had a tough life. The tops of his ears have been frozen off , he has scars from previous fights he most likely lost, and at the moment his eyes are milky white, but he’s a very handsome boy. I’m very happy that he chose to wander in for help and will be happier still if he chooses to remain :0)
