House Republicans Just Blocked A Law That Would Have Allowed Illegal Immigrants To Vote In Washington, DC
By Mike LaChance – Published February 10, 2023 at 11:58pm

In a win for election integrity, the House of Representatives voted to overturn a D.C. law that would give noncitizens a right to vote in municipal elections Thursday.

The greenie-weenie fallacy laid out on paper for ya’z. Short version…………we can’t get there from here…………….unless about 90% of the planet dies off soon.

As the Big Game approaches tomorrow, this author takes a look back at one of the best to ever lace up the cleats. While we know that he was a flawed man, who out there isn’t? The other #34, Walter Payton.

That story reminds me of a star player at our HS, Walt Harris. Walt wa in track and field in the off season, and he would literally cradle the ball then hurdle the opposition on the football field. Tall and handsome…wonder how his life turned out.

This is the very first internet post I’ve seen addressing the fact of construction incompetence in Turkey’s EQ damage. I’m so glad Juan Browne has done it!

That was one of the first things that came to my mind. You are right – it usually isn’t mentioned.

The practical reality of what the Turkish officials have done is pretty stunning. It’s literally an in-yer-face response to reality by which, instead of actually constructing or retrofitting buildings to construction requirements, they just deem it compliant with requirements and then accept that as legal compliance.

The disconnect with reality is complete–and codified into regulations/law.

It’s another reminder of why deceiving and being deceived is such deadly business, no matter where or to what extent it’s done.

I’m betting it works something like this…………shady builder pays off the “inspectors” who pay it forward. Then when SHTF, the gubmint gets all kinds of goodies and free money from Countries like ours who feel sorry for the people. The gubmint then distributes $.05 – $.10 of those free dollars to the rubes who live and work in these hovels. Either way, the gubmint wins.

I seems to be even worse than that. In the details of things Juan covers in the Turkish regs, it actually retroactively approves buildings long after they have been constructed, having been illegally occupied for years.

Afternoon, All. Another really pretty day here, 28* and very sunny. I guess it seems especially nice after the below 0* weather in the months of November and December.

I went to Givesendgo.com to donate some money to George Kelly, I think that is his name, the rancher who is in jail for shooting an illegal alien on his property in Arizona. They are trying to get together $250,000 to help him get out of jail on bail. I think they are up to about $193,000. This just seems so wrong, but it is where we are headed unless we stop it.

Let’s keep praying for our country.

We did the same, and included $4 to cover GSG’s costs! They’re up to $234k now. He shouldn’t have to do that – the gov’t is supposed to protect us from invaders. Most ranches have backhoes, don’t they?

I am glad to hear that the balance has gone up so much. I agree that he shouldn’t even be in this position. I am waiting on the ballistics report. I can’t believe they arrested him like they did. I would have thought they would have waited until they knew it was his gun at least.

Did you change browsers too? WP lamed-out but is now working properly. I believe I managed to change whatever setting was blocking it, but not sure exactly which one. It has something to do with allowing pop-ups (maybe your son can help). Good luck, mom – it’s a real pain in the neck!

Nope. Don’t do browse changes. That always messed me up. It just started working again. Go figure. :\

I just heard on the news that the rancher Kelley did not just outright shoot the illegal alien. He saw a group of heavily armed men near his ranch house and he shot into the air to chase them off. His lawyers says there is reason to believe this man was involved in illegal drug smuggling and that he wasn’t even shot by Mr. Kelley. I think ballistics should solve that. But, there is not reason to keep him in jail and his life is in danger from the other inmates.
