I grew up with ocean views: nothing out there but water. I much prefer the hills, mountains, inlets and islands because they are interesting to look at. But nothing beats the repetitious noise of waves for relaxation

Did you see that Newsweek suggested senior citizens lose their 2A right to purchase guns? Of course, the article I read pointed out how unconstitutional, unlikely, and how do you do itness of the idea. But I notice what seemed ridiculous a year or two ago sure keeps happening more and more.

Afternoon All. It is now 41* here today. That sounds good, except I an aware that all that snow is starting to melt and the temp will go back down and it will all be ice. The weather guessers say it should snow this afternoon. I am still waiting for my ice melt stuff to be delivered so I can put it around my car. I think my plan will work pretty well. We will soon see.
All you people in the path of the ice storm stay safe and healthy.

Hi mom! It was all of 4 degrees last night, but has now creeped up to 28! Supposed to be 40 tomorrow, so I imagine some of the snow will melt.
