Strange looking “wagon” there. My first thought was this could look like “Our Gang” of old TV. Need the dog (Petey) to have a ring around the eye, LOL

Multi-Purpose Canine “Bass” is Awarded the PDSA Dickin Medal
Posted January 23, 2023
Bass demonstrated his gallantry on numerous occasions when deployed with his handler, Staff Sergeant Alex Schnell, in MARSOC for six years. His life-saving actions during one particular deployment have earned him this prestigious Medal, making him the 75th recipient since it was first awarded.
The People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) Dickin Medal was instituted in 1943 in the U.K. It recognizes animals that display conspicuous gallantry or devotion to duty in the field of military conflict. (See Wikipedia article on the PDSA at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDSA_Gold_Medal .)

Clearly a very intelligent dog. Czar always called the Mallinois a “German Shepard lite”. Military dogs are all amazing to me.

Good day, WeeWeed! Remarkable! I’ve never seen a dog climb a tree.
The tree must have just enough slant to allow a heavier animal without cat-like claws to climb. I read an article recently which stated that some dogs use the dewclaw in climbing.

I have had two dogs that could climb fences.

Hi Lucille! Interesting article. I’ve had a dog with rear dewclaws. They are a problem in subArctic environments. If a dog punches through ice, front and rear dewclaws can get torn or otherwise injured. Working sled dogs routinely have all dewclaws removed when they are 5 days old. Makes putting on booties much easier.

Snow? SNOW?? This is the kind of dusting we get on the first of September which is gone the next day when it rains. Must be somewhere way south of the Mason-Dixon. Really cute dogs though. Bring ’em to Alaska!

I’m sure they are, since they look like Hannah. Can’t see their dew claws, tho, but Hannah’s are double.
