What a blast from the past!! Is that the leaning Capitol Records building? Trying to remember the blockbuster I saw at the Grauman’s Chinese oh so many decades ago. My sister and I used to fall asleep every night playing Andy Williams’ ‘Lonely Street’ album, and Wee Small Hours was one of the songs.

Hi, weather! I’ve been in Grauman’s Chinese many times. Most attendees today don’t have a clue whose foot and hand prints are in the cement courtyard, but my era folks who loved movies knew them all, even though a good percentage of the stars were past their prime. I saw WEST SIDE STORY there in 1961. It was such a stunning film to see on the big screen. Although there had been musicals practically since the beginning of sound films, we’d never seen anything like it.

Good afternoon, Wee! Poor Jay! Recent accidents show he needs to be a bit more cautious. He’ll be 73 in April and not ancient, of course. But still when you start having accidents, it means you’re somehow not as attentive as before.

Mornin’ All. It is 12*, overcast white, and snowing. I am going to fire my weather guesser and start using my friend’s weather guesser. Hers seem to be more accurate. I finally figured out yesterday that I could solve my problem with getting my car out of the parking spot by putting down some pet safe ice melt around it. I know, “well, duh!” Remember, this was never a problem in Florida! 🙄 I do have to admit it looks really pretty outside.
We will spend most of the day inside again. I will have to take out the garbage and I just heard the sidewalk machine go by clearing the sidewalk. So I will take a chance in my snow boots going to the garbage cans.

Good afternoon, aus! We’re at 30 degrees and it’s supposed to start snowing around 4:00 PM. Right now the sun is shining…whoops, it just went behind a cloud and doesn’t seem to be coming out!
And speaking of weather…February 2 is Groundhog Day. Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow? I’ll have to find a copy of the movie.
