Mornin’ all ya’all! Raining since 8. Expected to rain most of the day, off and on. Carniv@ parades began in Ernest last night with Krwe of Chewbaccas, a take off on the Star Wars franchise. It is a hoot, since anyone can belong, signing up and paying the fee even at the last minute, and march singly or with themed groups. The news said 2800 people weee expected to march. Costumes are fanciful and entertaining, sometimes satirical, mostly glittery and lighted. The Ball at the end is called “Chewbaccanal”, again the play on words. I would love to go, but 1. Some thug might break into my car, 2. Some thug might assault or rob me, 3. Some thug might shoot me by accident while taking revenge on someone else.
NO used to be really fun, now it is just scary.

A NO guy who does training for the police said he saw lack of implementation of good techniques to get the subject under control, and inability to get control back once the guy is stranding again (very hard to do, even with 5 officers). I have not seen anyone else comment on this.

Afternoon All. It was down to about -6* overnight. It is 0* now with a perfectly clear blue sky. I didn’t get to go to church because the lady I ride with wasn’t feeling well. I hope it is something not serious and she gets over it quickly.
I am waiting for my son to come to help me with a couple of things. I found out that maintenance here doesn’t fix things like a stopped up drain. Hope you have a nice day.

Good day, aus! Honestly, I’ve never heard of a management company or landlord who would not maintain the plumbing in working order. If you have not done anything on purpose or through negligence, then unstopping a drain should be part of the rental agreement.
