The Haunted Covered Bridge In Pennsylvania That Will Give You Chills

Ghosts of the past linger throughout Gettysburg. Many who have visited one of the most historic places in Pennsylvania, famous for the Battle of Gettysburg, tell tales of apparitions and strange occurrences on the battlefield, of sudden rushes of cold air, and of footsteps in empty hallways. Ghost hunters and those interested in the paranormal regularly visit Sachs Covered Bridge, one of the most reputedly haunted covered bridges in Pennsylvania. Visit this covered bridge for yourself… if you dare.

That outta get him off! Works well, especially in the far view mirror of “oh, that was a long time ago, not relevant anymore”…

Mornin’ Wee, Lucille, Stella and all ya’all! Intensely blue skies with lots of cute clouds, 50* and a little damp. No wind. By noon the clouds will cover, the wind will start up and Louisiana and Mississippi will be under severe storm watch overnight with strong winds, large hail, long track tornadoes and a small line of rain.

        Good afternoon, Czarina!

Whether they like it or not, stars set an example. There is a phrase in the film industry (though I’m not sure if it’s even used anymore), “He runs a happy set” which means that it’s smooth running because the star sees to it. Every effort is made to see that non-troublemakers are hired, that he, himself, is always prepared to step in front of the camera and say his lines, that he greets newcomers, that he maintains a good relationship with his producers, the crew, and the other actors. People like being a part of such a positive atmosphere, thus it’s “happy.”

For instance, that phrase was frequently used regarding James Garner on THE ROCKFORD FILES. He had the same agent, stunt man and stand-in for many years. He liked things to go smoothly and felt he had a stake in things because his production company was involved. Not that he didn’t have a temper–he did; but it was usually revealed over something that mattered not something frivolous (except for his golf game…it was a joke that he took his golf VERY seriously). Safety is ALWAYS something that matters on a set.

Baldwin, guilty or not of manslaughter, didn’t run a happy set. He ran a chaotic set where people weren’t called to task in a constructive manner for not doing their jobs properly. Also, he apparently allowed corners to be cut to save money, causing friction among the crew. He likes to say it wasn’t his responsibility to keep track of everything. Technically that’s true to a certain extent. But if you want to be respected as a PRODUCER, you bloody well make things your responsibility. Without taking responsibility before something untoward comes about, then terrible things have an easier time of happening. Don’t call yourself a producer if you don’t want to go the extra mile.

Imo, Baldwin is not a nice man except where it benefits him. He’s arrogant, angry, self-centered, opinionated and likely a narcissist. He should have kept his mouth shut from the moment the accident occurred. But his “I didn’t pull the trigger” nonsense hasn’t endeared him to anyone. Plus his “I don’t feel any guilt” attitude is disgusting.

Let the jury decide. Whatever…it’s going to be another circus.

Morning everybody! Sunny day today, just above freezing this morning. Prediction for tomorrow is snow – all day, for a total of 4 or 5 inches. Not too bad.

Mornin’ (for the next 7 min,) All. It is 30* and overcast here today. I don’t think we are expecting snow until tomorrow. The news is dismal this morning, Think I will avoid it today. Not much news from here. Loki doesn’t care. She says she will just take naps today. Like every day.

Please stay safe, all of you in the path of the storms.

As part of the ongoing culture of forgiveness for not paying taxes, fines, fees in NO, the mayor has forgiven $1 million in order to collect an unpaid $68 million. The rest of us who paid on time or paid the late fees, are just stupid. Because it is ok to break the law.

Also, due to problems with the court system, there will be no cases heard until March 1st. Also probably because of Carnival. laissez les bon temps roullez,

Okay, so the price of ‘first class’ postage just jumpted to 63 cents. But, our PO was out of stamps cause USPO didn’t want people buying a big stock of rolls before the increase; so now we have to wait a week for them to resupply. Look for the next increase in 6 months.
