Made macrame plant hangers for Christmas gifts in my younger, poorer days. That is a LOT of work!!

Handmade items are always welcome gifts in my book…from plant hangers to various foods to jewelry. I’d wager those who received your macrame gifts have appreciated them over the years and always remember who made and gave them.

Thanks for all the green imagery Lucille. It’s a refreshing vision of summer!

You’re welcome, Reflection!
My favorite succulent has always been the jade plant. We had huge ones with thick trunks in our backyard. They need no constant care and look beautiful outdoors and indoors.

I get it and not even a football fan! Looks like the Cowboys need a new kicker.

Head coach says he’s sticking with his keeker! I recorded the game on my DVR and when I went back to watch it in slo-mo, I figured out what happened.

Jack Frost is just teasing, wait a bit and that fickle fellow will reveal his true nature. Naughty boy. It’s hard on trees and plants. Although it may lure some bugs out of hiding and then…

Still below freezing weather at night, and getting mostly rain instead of snow. In other words, Jack Frost is here, he just isn’t at 15 below zero with a foot of snow.

Certainly better than 15 below, for any living thing. No icing issues from the low temperatures at night?
In other areas, warm days cause some plants to react to the spring-like weather and the following cold kills them.
Definitely requires special care on the part of the gardener.

Also have a bunch of tree frogs and Carolina anoles(look like camelions).

Heck, I thought it was a gathering of prostitutes in the first place. Every attendee there sold themselves for a few coins, did they not?

Afternoon All. Went to Bible Study this morning for the first time. It was about Paul’s trip to Rome. The pastor lead it and it was so interesting. He is really good at telling the stories.
There was what looks like blood on my patio right by the door this morning. I thought it was blood at first, but looking at it again it may be wine or juice. I hesitate to smell it, but I should be able to tell. I will have to do that.
Well, still working on my vacuum. I thought I had it fixed yesterday, but it wasn’t. And, I really need to get it working.
Hope your weather stays good.

I heard this is National Winnie the Pooh day.

Apparently in 2021 China banned Winnie the Pooh. This is a clever reaction from India….

This should tell you how desperate SeeEnnEnn is to stay in business. Finally………….reporting on Brandon’s shady business dealings. Our folks came out and lambasted them, along with a small dose of humiliation, on the socials!

This is one that upsets the apple cart. Has “modern medicine” been wrong about cholesterol and statins. FYI, I’m a bit of a statin skeptic, so I have a bit of bias here. Some compelling arguments, IMO.

I refused to take statins before I had a heart attack. My cardiologist tells me that I must, so I do.

Yikes. Well, I still resist statins, and I do take K and CoQ10. My card MD said I need to take them because my calcium score is 840.
