Good day to you, WeeWeed! That’s a good one! 2022 is one of those years which just need to be expunged from our memory banks.

Happy New Year to everyone! Nothing new in NO, however, already got a shooting death at 4:30 a.m.

Mornin’ Czarina! We probably do, too.

Happy New Year to you, too, Czarina! Last night I watched an interesting evaluation by a counselor on the Murders in Moscow, Idaho. I’m sure the police have the right man. From the things which are coming out about him, he definitely seems a nut job.

Good morning all, and hearty wishes for a healthy and Happy New Year!!
Fun and interesting reading this morning about Alexander the Great…learned a lot, including history of Macedonia as well as Alexander’s early death (at 32).

Yes, Lucille – much more fun now than it was in school. Actually, there are a bunch of excellent re-enactments on DVD now that would have made the subject much more meaningful than back then.

When I lived in Roslyn, VA, the Museum of Natural History in W.D.C. had a whole collection of items from the Alexander the Great era on display. Did you know that nothing that belonged to Alexander has ever been found. The collection had items from his father Phillip and his Generals; but nothing of Alexander’s. We know his horse was called Bucephalus; but we have nothing of his trappings. And we don’t know where Alexander is buried.

Good morning/afternoon all. Well, I had plans to go to church this morning. The nice lady who was going to give me a ride couldn’t find me and had written my tel# down wrong. So we both missed church again. And, so starts my new year. LOL. And, I got up at 7:00 this morning, so I am tired.
Hope your year has started better.

Good morning, aus! Sorry about the unexpected start to your new year! The unpredictables of life can be a pain.
My new year was going fine when Spectrum decided to go on the blink. I thought it would correct itself in minutes, but no. Phone, TV and Internet went missing. Usually it corrects itself eventually. Not this time. So I did the old turn-everything-off bit to reset the connection and wait while it calibrated. I kept thinking WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITHOUT THE INTERNET. LOL…so dependent, so pathetic. Imagine having to read an actual book rather than perusing the Big I!

Stella, I really enjoyed the music and stories and food posts during the holidays. You helped add to the festive feelings these past weeks. Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed them! The music continues until the Epiphany, so there is a bit more to come.

Serious backlash? You mean like looting, rioting, murder and mayhem? How would that be any different from what happens daily in the Golden State?
Extortion, anyone?
