Stellars, have a most happy….

A potential resolution for next year…no more chocolates…until then I have 26 hours to indulge…

I ate 3 Ferraro Roche last night, but they were unsatisfactory.

I had two Hershey’s kisses and some dark chocolate and don’t feel the least bit guilty.

I made these for tonight. And they are delicious. When it says add a few glugs of Bailey’s and a tines drop of Jameson I might have been loose with the measurements.

Menagerie, those look soooo good I could scarf down a couple right now. Restrictive diet begins again Tuesday.

You’re Family Now….
Travis has 12 #Shorts with Lloyd that I could find. The first one was posted approximately three months ago. Though Lloyd had no permanent home, he seems to have done his best to keep his clothes clean and his personal hygiene in good order. The videos appear to be out of Florida.

Happy New Year’s Eve! Hope your weather is satisfactory (mine is grey, foggy, occasionally rainy and in the 60’s, but supposed to improve for the evening), and each of you can reflect on something positive from the past year.
I plan to be home safely tucked in my living room this evening, with Ruffles chips and onion dip, and left over pizza to accompany a good book or movie.

Mornin’, Miss Wee. Been preoccupied a bit this mornin’. Tryin’ to pick out my pj ensemble for the couch tonight. Wish we could get DISH International, so we could watch the ball drop somewhere about six hours ahead of us! 😉

If you can tolerate the endless drivel of chatter and starlets on the Rockin’ New Year’s Eve-type shows, they often show lights and fireworks in other time zones as each hour chimes.

Morning everybody! Another gray day, but fairly warm. I almost prefer snow to the dead brown grass, trees and bushes. I hope you are all doing well.

Good day, Stella! We’re at 37 degrees, totally overcast but without rain or snow until Thursday. Such a welcome prediction if it remains on course.

Yep, we got dead brown here. But, the sun is out, it is 68* and quite pleasant now.

Things that make you go hmmmmm. Ray Epps poor choice of words during his J6 “testimony”.

Good day, Texan! Epps is just another not-very-bright, corrupt lackey of the FBI. He definitely needs to be in jail. In a sane U.S., his collusion with the criminal feds would be headline news.

Pope Benedict loved cats.

Benedict was such a lovely man. There’s a wonderful story from before he was Pope and was in a procession in Rome, I think. He taught theology and his students had gathered to see him process.
One of the students was so overtaken that he broke the silence and yelled out, “Ratzinger rules!” The student said there was just a very slight smile of appreciation but no other acknowledgement. His students really loved him.
R.I.P.

I would say “Vatican bells toll …”. This is the correct event for tolling, deep bells.

Mornin’All. Gotta make this quick. It is 29* and very sunny with pretty clouds today. I am going to try to make a run for the laundromat. They didn’t clear off the driveway until yesterday afternoon and it looks pretty awful right now, but I am almost out of clothes. I have been washing the lighter things out by hand, but even that isn’t really satisfactory. So, later.
Happy New Year

Good afternoon, aus! Hopefully you’re out to the laundromat and back already with tons of clean items.
Which reminds me that I put a load in the washer a couple of hours ago and forgot about it. Oh, my, my, my! Hard to keep my wits about me nowadays.

Gotta get my clean sheets outta the dryer….

Yes, I took three enormous loads to the laundromat and got them all clean and dry. Then, I stopped at the fast food joint right near the laundromat and got a chicken sandwich with fries and a shake. I hadn’t eaten out in a long time and decided to try them. It turned out to be very good. The weather held up, but I was concerned because just before I left home I got an email from Spectrum that said what to do during a power outage from the storm they were expecting. ??? I still don’t know what storm they mean. I can’t see anything on my radar.

Lots of practice evidently. They are so good at catching cats, too. Down to a science.
Bee and Gee absolutely would not let me give them baths. Since I’m not interested in long scratches down the arms or face and half-wet cats running around the apartment, brushings are all either got. But Gee doesn’t even like to be picked up and brushed. Hard to believe Bee has been gone now for a year. My beautiful girl passed December 22, 2021.

I once had a cat who loved water. If he heard the bath running or the washing machine emptying into the laundry tub, he would go running. He loved to sleep in the bathroom sinks. Crazy, I know.

Yes, I’ve had cats sleeping in sink bowls, too…Omar (gray tabby) and Midnight (what else…all black). Unfortunately the landlord didn’t allow me to keep either and so they went to live with my folks in their mobile home.
Mom said that Omar used to play a game he made up…sat on the bathroom counter waiting for her to come up the hall and then jump out at her. Such a character.
