      Dogs are amazing. Out in Southern Cal. many years ago, a toddler was kidnapped and put in a car and driven off. There was little hope of ever finding her. But they brought in a police dog who sniffed her things and followed the car onto the freeway and past several exists. He insisted on getting off on the next exit and took the police to the door of the house where the girl was. She had never put feet on the ground, and it was hours later, but they went right to her.
