Honolulu, for sure! Have a warm (in spirit, if necessary) day!

Painted Desert is a bucket list if it’ll fit. Northern Lights to the Painted Desert, yep, lots and lots of driving! A sister lives in Az. Being not vaxxed might be an issue though. May have to settle on a chance to see the Lights at someplace like Kalispell, Montana though. Maybe gives me a chance to re-visit a few National Parks! (2 and maybe a third in Ut.) That stirs some interest.
Morning all! Getting a tad warmer today. That bitter cold was a wake-up!

A wakeup…………that’s for sure.

The Painted Desert is beautiful in person. One of my father’s uncles lived in Arizona. We visited every few years. Have a good day, Pa.

“What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” (1949) by The Orioles

LikeLiked by 4 people
Wiki says
The Orioles were an American R&B group of the late 1940s and early 1950s, one of the earliest such vocal groups who established the basic pattern for the doo-wop sound.
The Orioles are generally acknowledged as R&B’s first vocal group. Baltimore natives, they blended rhythm with group harmonies. Dubbing themselves after Maryland’s state bird, the Orioles started the trend of bird groups (The Cardinals, The Crows, The Flamingos, The Larks, The Penguins, The Ravens, The Wrens, etc.).[1] They brought their winning formula to their first charted hit “It’s Too Soon to Know”; a #1 record in November 1948, soon followed by the group’s second hit, “(It’s Gonna Be a) Lonely Christmas”, in December that same year.

Mornin’, all. Big day at el Gordito today! Mrs. T is celebrating 11 years of wedded bliss to……………..me! Here’s hoping that after all the excitement, she feels the need to head towards 12! I’ll fire up the coffee machine momentarily!

Don’t be silly, Miss Wee. I got her a new tiller. You know it hardly snows here at el Gordito. But that garden don’t tend itself! 😉

Does anyone else have that problem, like with WinXP or Win98? I’m running Win7. I don’t really care for those newer OS’s.

I’m running Win10/Edge and I can’t “like” the thread up top for some reason. Everything else seems to be working ok. On my Mac, nothing works right on Safari, but I have no issues when I switch to Microsoft Edge for Mac. I’m totally confused.

This is hysterical. Pharma Bro advising SPF-50 on how to adjust to prison life. FTA – “…my advice for him includes shaving his head, my advice for him includes deepening his voice,”…………“Sam is going to have a lot of issues because he is a bit of an effeminate guy” 😀 😀 😀

Mornin’ All. After all that time with below 0* temps, above 0* is much appreciated. It is 36*, which feels absolutely warm after all that cold weather and it is raining lightly. I think this goes on for a short while and then it snows again. This ain’t Florida folks.
My family is getting over whatever they had. So, I am looking forward to getting over there with presents for (pause here for delivery of groceries – finally got them. The delivery girl said last week people didn’t turn up for work because of the snow and that the computer system went down.). So I am really excited to get to give my granddaughters their gifts.
I think God has been trying to teach me patience for years, all my life, in fact. I think I am finally getting it. 🙄
Have a good day and stay safe and warm.

Walmart seems to be having problems in a lot of places. In Buffalo, I think it was, criminals came in and stole everything.
Yesterday my delivery was supposed to be between 11:00-12:00. No show. Then someone picked up my items (including plenty of frozen foods) at 12:01 and didn’t deliver them until 1:07. The drive is 15 minutes max. So I cut the tip to $4. I’d planned to give them a bonus for delivery on a national holiday, but I simply did not get good service.

They have always been so good about the deliveries, so this was unusual. I imagine I wasn’t the only one who was upset about not getting their order. I did get two $10 coupons off my next orders because I complained.

So now all those people are sitting just over the border looking pathetic, waiting for the Biden admin to do something.

It’s all so sickening. Not even one person in Joey’s entire administration cares. Losers and pathetic mental weaklings combined with hubris and elitism combined with fascism.
