Oh, my. I am staying warm in my apartment, but it is 3* outside. Loki wants to know what the problem is. She doesn’t understand the cold. It did snow again last night. For some reason, my order delivery from Walmart got put off until tomorrow. I wonder why.
Good news. I contacted a lady from the church who had asked my son why I hadn’t been coming. She lives very near me and will be happy for me to ride to church with her. In fact, she said she goes to the Bible study on Wed and wanted to know if I wanted to go to that, too. I did, but had not planned it because of transportation. She seems very nice and I am happy this will work out. Oh, and, she has the same problem with her eye that I do. She hasn’t had to take the shots for a couple of years now, but they watch her very closely.
Well. Got to go. Hope you all stay warm and healthy.

Good afternoon, aus! We’re at a toasty 22 degrees (LOL!) but that’s the high. Last night when I checked, it was supposed to be 19 as a high. No snow today…yippee!
That’s wonderful you’ll have a ride to church and Bible study with a new friend. I’ll have to say that’s downright Christian of her to offer.

Grey, drippy and 47* outside. Whenever there is a break in the drizzle I let the dogs out for zoomies. They seem to love to get their feet wet, and don’t mind the water on their fur from rolling around in the grass. I, on the other hand, have perpetually cold feet, even with socks on.
Predictions are for 30* on Friday, Saturday & Christmas, with lows down to 17-20*. Nobody’s saying anything about snow, just burst pipes and frozen plants.

I put on my socks, overprints, vest, knit hat, smooth leather snow boots, and heavy coat. Then I pulled up the hood and zipped the coat up to my nose. Then I walked the block down to the mailbox because I had to put some checks in the mail. It is a toasty 7* now and I didn’t take Loki because she can hardly stand to be outside for 5 min. Somehow the block seemed to turn into a half mile. I stopped on my way back to start the car and let it run until it warmed up. By then my feet felt frozen. Finally got back inside, only to find a “winter storm warning” for our area. My friend in Florida is complaining about the cold down there……..72*.
