Fried Bankman

If you have been following the story about FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried (aka SBF), you know that he was arrested in the Bahamas, conveniently just the day before he was scheduled to testify (remotely) before Congress. That stopped him from being able to testify.

An indictment of SBF in the U.S. District Court,  Southern District of NY, was unsealed on December 13. It includes multiple charges of wire fraud and conspiracy. SBF faces up to 115 years in prison if convicted on all eight counts.

Sam was scheduled to go toe-to-toe with his lady friend under oath; but the arrest got in the way.
